The 1st of January; 2017.
It's been 2 nice days at home and even if the boys wanted to spend more time with their families, it was time to get back to work.
One by one they arrived home and had some time to rest after their long way in the cars.
It was time for Bin and Eunwoo to meet again after the holidays. Their meeting wasn't unusual because it happened quite often when the older came home and saw Binnie sleeping. And today wasn't an exception.
It seems, Bin was so tired that he didn't even take off his glasses. He seemed to lie down on the bed and fell asleep the second his eyes closed.
Eunwoo quietly approached the bed, squatted down, and smiled, carefully taking off Bin's glasses. He found his friend cute. Too cute and couldn't look away. After 2 minutes Dongmin realized he was staring at Moonbin all that time while trying to remove hair from his face.
Eunwoo felt something. It was weird. Unfamiliar feeling, but he didn't pay much attention. He must be just happy to see Binnie again. He didn't want to sleep though, so he went to the kitchen and decided to make hot cocoa. Jinwoo was there, sitting alone and doing something on his laptop.
"Hey."
"Oh, hi, Eunwoo. How were the weekends?"
"You're asking like we weren't talking every day in our group chat."
"Right. But still..."
"It was fine. Missed you all though."
"Be ready to get tired of us soon."
Eunwoo scoffed and started doing what he was planning to do since the beginning - making hot cocoa.
Soon enough Bin came out of the bedroom, rubbing his eyes. He was silent as sleepy puppycats usually are.
"Morning. Eunwoo made hot cocoa, you can get some. I'm sure he won't mind," said the leader as Bin sat down on the chair.
Not even a second has passed when Eunwoo moved his mug across the table to his friend.
"No need to get up. Drink mine."
"Thank-" Timidly started Bin but was interrupted by loud MJ.
"A GOOD DAY INDEED!"
"Right. Looks like you're ready to go to the company."
"Yes, Jinnie!" Said MJ while bringing Jinjin closer to him by grabbing his friend's neck with his arm bent at the elbow. Jinwoo knew his hyung was messing around but it didn't mean he couldn't feel pain, so he wheezed.
"Bin, go and get dressed. Only four of us will be there today, so we're waiting for you."
"Four of us?"
"Yeah, Sanha and Rocky have other schedules."
After about 10 minutes they left the house, and after another 5 minutes, they were in the company's building.
'-'
"But I can'get it. When the choreographer explained it and corrected me, it was alright. What's now?"
"Hey, look at Bin. Binnie, since you're standing there, show Eunwoo those moves."
And Bin slowly started doing hands movements.
"Okay. They're crossed, then on hips, quicky put them down... then... like this?"
"Yeah. Then one hand is on another one and goes upper with every beat."
Eunwoo tried to repeat.
"Rocky and Sanha said it's a soda can opening dance or something like that."
"Not surprised it was their idea to name it like this." Eunwoo scoffed and then tried to do the movements while Binnie was standing behind him, drinking his water.
"Right, but a little lower," corrected Bin.
"Can you just-" Eunwoo wanted to explain but decided that grabbing Bin's hand and putting it on his, would be faster. "Move my hand with yours, please."
The younger was a bit shocked, his heart was pounding. Obviously, it wasn't the first time he held Eunwoo's hand, but this time felt different. Maybe because he forgot how it was - holding the hand of the one you love, because he always tried to avoid any contacts, touches with Eunwoo.
MJ got back in the room right at the moment when Eunwoo grabbed the hand of his younger friend, so of course, he noticed Bin's confusion. Myungjun put all those things he's been noticing for the last few days and began to suspect something.
The boys continued practicing choreo until they felt exhausted. And even then it was hard for them to drag Eunwoo out of the practicing room, it was obvious, he was disappointed in himself.
Bin, who wasn't in the best condition himself, noticed Eunwoo feeling down and offered him hot cocoa as the oldest did for Binnie that morning. He did his best to make Eunwoo feel better: he brought a quilt, hot cocoa, served delicious food, he did everything he could.
"Hey, stay still for a moment."
"Why?"
"Finally you stopped. Come here."
Bin was confused but approached the sofa. Eunwoo grabbed his friend's sleeve and pulled Bin to himself. He fell on Eunwoo and was more confused, even blushed and couldn't hide it. Eunwoo laughed so hard, and it meant only one thing - Bin helped a lot, he lightened the mood.
The 2nd of January; 2017.
It was late evening when five of them came back home from the studio.
"Bin-ah," said MJ in a drawl. "Stay with me for a while here."
Other guys slowly went upstairs and stayed in their rooms.
"Do you want to talk?" started Myungjung as he was pouring coffee into his cup.
"No, I thought you wanted."
"You know... um..." MJ planned to talk about it but didn't plan the conversation itself. What should he say?
"Um... it's about you and Eunwoo, actually."
"Should I call him?"
"No need. I just asked you to stay. It's private, maybe you understand what I want to talk about."
"Not really."
But Bin felt something, maybe deep in his mind he knew and tried to deny it. No, MJ can't know. I mean, how would he know? He thought.
"You have feelings for Eunwoo, don't you?"
Bin only gulped and couldn't say a word.
