Though I'm breathing different air, I'm not suffocated. I guess I adjusted well and I guess Mardav is right. This is me, this is my real place.
But I cannot forget the people I left above. How is he doing?
"...magandang panoorin ang buwan lalo-na't kulay rosa—Ayos ka lang ba Blase?!" Mardav suddenly asked as I wiped my tears off.
"Ayysshh, ayos lang. Homesick, miss ko na ang mama ko at mga kaibigan..." at siya, is he doing well with Nyll?!
"Ayos lang ba kung i-share mo yan sa akin?" A smile crept to lips when I heard him speaking english and I know he do it too when I speak filipino.
"My life before is like void, parang wala lang and then I meet this person, he's Weng and I instantly love him and he love me too. Later, life gets complicated I soon realize something weird is happening to me and I felt that he's struggling. I know that he like he's childhood friend which is my cousin, Nyll. I don't want to see my love struggling, I don't want to be in regrets. That's why I chose to distant myself but I know it's not enough and my idiotic brain says to jump off the bridge to end it all and so I did..." I looked at Mardav face and he was sad. Who would not?!
"I-I am sorry, masyado bang english?"
"It's alright Blase" he said that suprise me.
"...alam ko kung anong ibig sabihin mo" he added.
"How about you Mar, naranasan mo na ba ang bagay na mga yun?!" He suddenly stops and I stop too.
Then a fake smile plastered on his face.
"Sana, pero wala akong kalayaan diba? At limitado lang ang buhay" he answered and continues walking.
"Actually the guy I like is like you. Inosente, he's Weng" I said brightening the mood.
"Hindi naman sa pinepressure kita ha pero dapat mo talagang matagumpayan ang pagkakataong ito para makabalik ka sa taong mahal mo at ako makalaya at makapahinga" he said while looking forward.
"We can both benefit from it" I said and he just smiles. I feel comfortable around Mardav.
