The boys had been home for a week and a half now. They had been back home with their families to get some rest after the tour, so I was left alone in the house, yet again. We hadn’t had much time to talk, so I hadn’t been able to tell them when I was leaving. I felt a bit guilty for that, but now they were back in the house. I would probably tell them soon.

Louis really wanted to have a party, to celebrate their return, so I left them to it. They had said they were going to plan everything and I intended to NOT help them. Well if they asked nicely maybe I would help. OKAY. I was going to help them. God, I was such a pushover. But I didn’t want to be at the party. I really didn’t feel like it. There would be a lot of people there and I didn’t want to be clinging to the boys all night. Danielle and Eleanor would be there too, but they also had their own friends. Perrie wouldn’t be able to make it. She was too busy with Little Mix. They were preparing for the release of their album and they needed to do interviews, or some performances or something. I really didn’t know. Well either way, I was just going to stay in my room till the party was over. No one would miss me anyway.

On the night of the party I had settled myself in my room. I was in my cosy clothes and I had my hair up like always. I had plugged my headphones in and I was going to try and read a book. I was seated in my favourite spot on the windowsill, so I would have the perfect view of the garden and I could watch all the drunken people stumble.

“We knew you would be in here” Eleanor and Danielle barged into my room. Why were they not downstairs enjoying themselves? “What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be at the party?”

“We could ask you the same thing” Eleanor said with a big grin on her face. She was already a bit tipsy. “Sorry girls, but I’m not really in the mood for a party. You just go downstairs again and have fun.” I said. They looked disappointed, but only for a while.

“No. We’re not going to leave this room till you have agreed to come down with us.” Danielle said. “Come on. It’s going to be fun! There are tons of people you HAVE to meet.” I knew they wouldn’t go away until I agreed, they were really that stubborn. But I really wasn’t in the mood. I had had a terrible day.

“Please, I just want to have a quiet evening, I’ve had a bad day. And besides I don’t have anything to wear.” They started giggling. “What? What is it?” I asked confused.

“We knew you were going to say that, so we bought you something.” Eleanor said giving me a shopping bag. “Now get your ass in the shower and then we’ll help you get ready.”

“Okay fine. But I’m not promising you that I’ll have a great time.” I looked at them strictly.

5 minutes later I was back in the bedroom, only a towel around my body. There were some perks to waxing your legs and armpits. You were almost always ready in no time. I washed my hair and let it hang down my back. I knew the girls were in the mood for a make over, so I would let them. Again, I was just a pushover sometimes.

They handed me a set of white lingerie and an off white peplum dress and send me into the closet to get it on. The dress ended halfway my thighs and combined with my bra I got a big cleavage. I wasn’t sure if I liked that. I walked out, tugging my dress down to try and cover more of my body. “Stop doing that!” Danielle ordered. “You look absolutely gorgeous! You shouldn’t hide anything.” I felt myself blush. “Now let’s do your hair and makeup.”

When they were done with the makeup, there was a little knock on the door. “NO!” Eleanor shouted “Don’t come in, I’m coming to you.” She walked over and opened the door. “What’s going on in there? Why aren’t you at the party?” I heard Niall’s voice ask. “Well, Kate didn’t want to go to the party, so now we’re making her. And we are almost done. Bye” Eleanor answered, closing the door in his face.

They dried my hair and because I had naturally wavy hair, they didn’t do much else to it. The makeup looked okay, I guess. My eyes were kept simple, with a lot of mascara making my eyelashes pop and they put on a really bright red lipstick. “You’re almost done. Now for the accessories.” They handed me a simple silver bracelet and some simple hanging earrings. You barely noticed they were there. And then the shoes. I had always had a passion for shoes. I guess like any other girl. These shoes were just as bright red as my lips. And they fit perfectly.

“WOW!” I heard Eleanor say. “Dani we are geniuses. Look what a babe we have created!” She laughed and Danielle laughed with her. I could feel the blush come creeping again. “Go on, look at yourself” Danielle encouraged me. I took a deep breath. Wow, I actually looked decent. I think I could go down to the party like this.

“We’re going down now and you should follow. If you are not down in 5 minutes, we are going to drag your ass down the stair. Understood?” “Okay, I’ll see you in a bit.” They left. Was I really going to go? I guess. They had made a huge effort to make me look like this. I couldn’t not go. I gathered all my courage and went down the stairs.

After being at the party for a while, I actually started to enjoy it. This wasn’t too bad after all. But I didn’t know that many people and I still hadn’t seen any of the boys and for some reason Danielle and Eleanor had disappeared. I decided to go outside. It was still hot outside, so a lot of people were having the party out here. I was still looking for some familiar faces. Suddenly I was grabbed by the arm and swirled around. I looked up into Liam’s eyes. Finally someone I knew.

“Wow Kate, you look absolutely gorgeous.” He said, making me blush again. “Thanks” I said shyly. “Come on, I have someone you should meet” Liam dragged me into the crowd of people. Suddenly we stopped. “Look he’s a really nice guy, but he flirts a lot when he sees a beautiful woman. Just tell him to back off if it’s too much” He whispered in my ear before turning to a handsome looking guy. “Andy, I want you to meet Kate. Kate this is Andy, my best friend.” I put out my hand to greet him, he took it and spun me around. His eyes were all over my body. “Why haven’t I seen you before? Has Liam kept you all to himself? I can understand why. If I had such a gorgeous woman living in my house, I would also keep her for myself.” He put his arms around my waist. “So tell me about yourself, beautiful.” Liam was right, he was really flirty. He was standing way too close for my liking. I looked over to find Liam but he was gone. Instead I spotted Zayn standing at the turntable. “Well there really isn’t much to tell. And if you will excuse me, I have to go.”

“Oh I’m not letting you go that easily. First we’ll have some fun. Come dance with me.” He pulled me close and stared grinding me. I really didn’t like this. I needed to get away.

I quickly got out of his grip. “I’ll find you later, sweetheart.” He yelled after me. This, he, was too much. I really should go yell at Liam for this. If I could find him.
