I turned to look at him. His face was hard, his lips pressed into a thin line. He was not kidding.

"Why aren't I getting that?"

"You just aren't!"

Why was he deciding that for me? What the hell! He wasn't allowed to make that call. I had my say in that as well.

"But what if I want it? What if I don't want to suddenly be popping babies? Huh? How come you are the only one to have a say in this?"

"Kate, we'll talk about this later!" He said sternly. But I didn't want to hear of it. We should talk about this now!

"But what-"

"Later!" he growled, gesturing to the group of people watching us. I huffed. "Fine. Apparently I won't be getting that. Is there anything else doc?"

He looked slightly out of place, after the small fight. The tension in the room was evident.

"No there isn't. We wanted to keep you for the night, if you weren't doing too good. But it looks like you are fine, so you are allowed to leave. Your friend brought you some clothes, so if you would change into that, you can leave."

"Okay thank you!" I smiled at him. He hurried out of the room. Of course he didn't want to be in here any longer. And he probably had something else he needed to do.

"We'll see you at home!" The whole group started moving, leaving three people. Danielle, Paul and Niall.

Dani walked over as Harry moved away.

"I'm really glad you're okay hun! And we'll meet up again soon. I promise." She hugged me tightly, adding "Don't be too hard on him. He almost lost you. Twice." in a whisper.

"I'll see you soon Dani. And then you have to tell me... well, you know." I winked at her, making her blush. I had seen her with Liam. They looked happy. She was obligated to give me the dirty details someday. I knew Liam wouldn't tell a thing.

"I'm going home too kiddo. But I'll see you soon! Stay strong." Paul hugged me and departed with Danielle.

"Uhm... I'm not really sure what to do!?" Niall said, digging his hands into his pockets. "I'm supposed to drive you home."

"Wait in the hallway. And take him with you." I pointed at Harry. Yes, I was still mad at him. How dare he tell the doctor what I could do and not do? It was not something I could let go that easily.

"I'll call you when I'm done changing. I still need some support, otherwise I can't walk."

When we arrived home, it was late. I wanted to sleep, but I knew I had to eat. Otherwise I would never get out of bed tomorrow. I would be too weak. I needed to get my strength back. I was able to walk without support now. I just needed to get the movement back in my legs. But my right leg was still a bit stiff and still in bandages. I could take them off tomorrow and I was looking forward to that. The wounds were healing now and they looked good. It wouldn't take all that long before I could workout again. That was really great. I might even try running soon.
