*Kate's POV*
I wasn't scared anymore. I thought I would be, but I wasn't. The feeling had gone away the minute I heard Niall's voice on the other side of the stall door. He actually had come to save me. And when we came home I was immediately taken into Harry's protective arms. It felt like he was never letting go. I felt safe. I was tired and emotionally drained, but I felt safe. I knew right then and there that I would never be able to leave them. They had always been there for me when I needed them most. And now they did everything to make me feel good.
It was now 3 days after my encounter with Karl and life was going on. The boys were preparing for the Australian leg of the tour and since I was going with them, so was I.
Liam had finally admitted to having a girlfriend. Her name was Sophia and I had met her once before. She was really nice and I was sure she was making Liam happy, but for some reason I felt bad for Danielle. I should probably talk to her in the near future. Sophia was really pretty too and she would probably become a good friend over time.
It was Friday night and Harry wanted to take me out. He said I needed the distraction. But he needed it as much as I did. Something had changed in him since the day at the mall, but I didn't know what was going on. He said it was nothing, but I knew something was up. He had been so distant, not like he used to be. I was afraid he didn't want me anymore. We had been dating for 2 months and I knew he got easily bored in relationships. There was always that thought in the back of my head; when has he had enough? I was preparing myself for that moment.

"Thank you for tonight Harry, it was nice." I gave him a small peck on the lips. We were back at the house again. Nobody else was home, we were the only ones.
"Yeah, sure babe" Harry said. He had been distracted all night, but he hadn't broken up with me. It was really frustrating for me that he wasn't telling me anything. He used to. But I wasn't going to say anything, not tonight.
"Okay... I think I'm going to bed then." I told him. It had been a good night, but it was also disappointing. We hadn't talked that much during the date. Not flirting or teasing like we used to. I started walking up the stairs
"Kate wait!" Harry grabbed my arm, to stop me from walking. I winced in pain. Karl had left a big bruise on my wrist.
"Look, I'm sorry. I know I've been distant. I just..." he ran his hands through his hair. I looked at him in anticipation.
"Come on, let's go talk." He brought me to his room. I sat down on the bed, while he kept standing in front of me. He was pacing back and forth. He was clearly distressed.
"Harry, sit down! You're making me nervous."
He sighed and sat down. He was still running his hands through his hair.
"God this is frustrating!" he exclaimed. I tried to make him look at me, but he kept avoiding my eyes. I put my hand on his knee to make him relax. He jumped at my touch, so I quickly pulled it away again. I kept quiet, giving him the time he needed.
