*Kate's POV*
I would like to say that everything was better when I came to New York. Except then I would be lying. Yeah it got better over time, spending time with the people I loved, but it took me three days to feel my energy returning. Saturday night I felt better. That was when I started genuinely smiling again. That was when the weight lifted from my chest. I guess it was a combination of all the things that did it, but what put me in the right spot again, was the fun I had with Harry. You know what I mean. It had been really intense and rough. I liked that he just couldn't keep his hands off of me. I felt wanted. Sexy. I got some confidence back. That helped me to move on. And then Niall and Liam had a surprise for me. They took me to a Knicks game!
I always wanted to go see a real NBA game and seeing the Knicks was amazing. They weren't at their best game, but still. They were the Knicks! And because of Niall we got to meet some of the players. Which was really awesome. That really made my day. And I must admit that Eleanor was right. I did have great time, and it was good to see them all again. They could always brighten my mood.
Now Christmas was fast approaching. I was in big trouble in the present department. Like so many times before, I didn't know what to get them. What could you give the boys that had everything? And if they ever wanted anything they could just buy it straight away. It was really difficult. And being the stubborn me, I didn't want to give them some lame Christmas present. So I decided to ask one of my best friends to help me out. Maybe he had some ideas, maybe not. But either way, I knew he was in his room. I heard him go in there not to long ago.
"Niall, can you help- OH MY GOD!"
No no no no no no... I didn't just see that! I didn't. Erase that picture please. That was NOT something I wanted to see. Let alone want to remember.
I just walked into the room like I normally did. Usually do. With all of them. But this time... Oh God! I had closed my eyes quickly and made my way out of the room, but the image was imprinted in my mind forever. That would never be unseen again.
"Wha" a sleepy Zayn appeared, sticking his head out the door. He yawned loudly. "What's going on?"
I must have yelled harder than I thought, if I was able to wake Zayn.
"N-nothing" I lied. My face was burning up, probably looking like a tomato. He would see straight through the lie.
Zayn yawned again, turning around to continue sleeping. "If you say so Kate" I hears him muttered before the door closed. I darted into my room, knowing I was about to face Niall in just a few minutes. I had to gather myself. It was so embarrassing. Probably more for him than me, but still. Sitting down in my usual spot, looking out the window, thinking. I couldn't stop giggling that developed in the back of my throat. It actually was quite funny.
Niall stomped into my room, just a bit more decent then before.
"Kate. We need to talk about this!"
Looking at him I burst out laughing. His face was red of embarrassment and just a tiny hint of anger. He was panting and still showing more skin then I liked right this moment. The funny thing was, instead of putting on some sweats to cover up the bulge in his boxers, he had decided to put on socks and shoes. It looked absolutely ridiculous. It was all just too surreal and too funny.
