Tanya's eyes stayed fixated on the red and blue lights below. They flashed brightly, surrounding a small construction site, a beacon of light that invaded the shadows of the night. Skin kissed with the bitter cold wind of London. Along with the metal railing that she leaned against beside Brian, who stared through a pair of binoculars.
"Interpol picked up one of Shaw's guys in Moscow," Luke announced. "Tanya and I went in, had a little therapy session with him. He gave up Shaw's hideout."
"Problem is, if he's like his brother, this won't be it," Tanya added. "He has to have another trick up his sleeve."
"How do you know?" Brian inquired, pulling the binoculars away to look down at his sister.
"Because before Luke pulled me out of Moscow, I knew Owen's brother." She waved her hand towards the construction site. "Rat bastard but a smart one."
"Then why aren't we down there now?" Gisele mused. "If Tanya knows so much, she would be a great help for them."
Luke sighed. "We weren't invited," he stated simply, "and they won't let her or I step in. So we got box seats for the show."
A lot of what Tanya had disclosed of her past was still secret to a lot of the crew. Of course, when she joined the D.S.S., she had to give information to Luke about what she'd done and what others like her did. Practically blowing the lid off of the organization she'd worked her heart and soul, blood, sweat and tears for. She wasn't proud of the person she'd become, and it was best to leave some things in the past. So keeping as much information from the others was her goal, as well as Luke's.
"Hobbs, they're sending in your punching bag," Tej announced. "He's wired. He's gonna give a positive I.D. on Shaw before they move in."
The group watched down on the street in anticipation. Tanya wished she could say she was patient, but she indeed wasn't. If anything, she was eager to get some payback for what Deckard did to her over a year ago. The large scar on her thigh was a constant reminder of her loss against him. She was in the mood to return the favour. Who better than to take down the man's little brother?
"I've just got confirmation on Shaw," Tej announced. "They're going in."
And he wasn't wrong, judging by the large S.W.A.T. force moving in on the site. "Wait, wait, wait," he paused. "Hold up. Hold up. Police scanners are saying alarms are going off at Interpol headquarters."
"Shit," Brian cursed. "He brought us here so he could take down Interpol. Tanya was right, this whole thing's a setup."
"Brian, take the team," Dom ordered. "And what about you?" Brian inquired.
