Jin's gaze down to the ring on his finger, after which he turned to face Jungkook and stared directly back at him; he had the impression that Jungkook was looking forward to receiving a response, a reaction, anything that would confirm that he liked or accepted the ring. In Jin's mind, a million thoughts were racing through his head, and he had no idea how to respond. Jungkook was not normal; in fact, he was the farthest thing from normal, and the tiniest response that was not agreeable to him might set him off, and Jin didn't want that to happen.

He had become used to living with Jungkook over the last couple of months, understanding that he had no option but to coexist with him since the man had made up his mind and would not change his mind no matter what he did or said.

"Are you going to stare at me in silence, or are you going to tell me whether you like it? If you don't like it, I can arrange to change it. A bigger one existed, but I thought you wouldn't value it, so I settled on this. Do you like it or not?"

Jungkook was becoming more anxious as he saw Jin gaze at him without saying anything he did not like. He was aware that people were meant to be enthusiastic at such a moment, but Jin didn't seem to be in that frame of mind, which he couldn't understand, given that he had put a lot of thought into selecting the ring.

Jin returned his sight to the ring on his finger, studied it, and then redirected his eyes to Jungkook, saying, "I like it, thank you very much."

"Do you really? I don't need to change it? Because if you don't, I can change it, although it's the only one I thought you might wear unless you want one with a big diamond; I can get it and replace it."

Jin smiled. "no, you don't have to do that; I like this; it's simple and elegant; those other things aren't for me; this is excellent."

Jungkook took a big sigh, a huge sense of relief washing over him, "Well, that's good; I'd never had to purchase one before, so this was new to me, and there were a lot of options, which made me a little confused. I was going to call Taehyung for advice since he had done this previously, but then I realized that it would be better if I did it alone. I think I made the right decision, so that's good. If you like it, I think I like it as well."

Jin nodded and smiled, but he didn't say anything further.

"So, about our wedding, do you want us to talk about it now or tomorrow? Like I said earlier, I have been doing a lot-"

"Jungkook, if I may be honest with you, I understand that you want us to be married, and for me, marrying a king and becoming a member of royalty should be a tremendous honor. However-"

"No, I am not going to listen to this, you are not-"

"Please allow me to finish! Not that I won't marry you, Jungkook; I assure you that I will marry you. However, I will only do so if you commit to seeing that psychiatrist regularly. Jungkook, you're in desperate need of help. Your method of doing things is unacceptable, and you are, in many ways, distinct from the people around you, making it tough to coexist with you. Regardless of whether my parents are here, I hold on to many of the teachings they taught me, and you have shown me that you care over the last few months.

I've also had some time to reflect, and maybe I've been too focused on all the wrong you've done from the start to recognize the good you're capable of, and perhaps the same is true for everyone around you. It's difficult to perceive the good inside you since you hurt and create a lot of suffering. As a result, although I agree to marry you, it's on the condition that you receive help since I can't live with you if all I'm thinking about is your next outburst; it's unfair to me, our daughter, and everyone else in this kingdom.

Also, I have to say something else, and I mean it in the most respectful way imaginable, so please do not misinterpret what I'm trying to communicate. I want you to understand that being selfish will not get you anywhere, and right now, you are acting selfishly, causing harm to people whom you are supposed to protect. Why are you enforcing a marriage ban? Jungkook, what's the matter? You're asking me to marry you in the hopes that I would, yet you're stealing from others to get what you want from me? Do you realize how twisted that is?"
