Jin stood in front of the mirror, shirt up, staring into the mirror at his stomach, unable to believe what the doctor had told him. He wanted to be happy about it but could not since he knew the King did not want any more children, and he had made that clear to him before.
Although he had intended to use birth control, the events surrounding his parents had left him with little time to think about it, and he had completely forgotten about it. However, he was unsure how he would convey it to the King so that it would not anger him. He had been trying to think of ways to move the news forward since he had returned from his appointment, but he could not come up with anything that worked.
After putting his shirt down, he decided to give up on trying to think about it and instead focus on making dinner, like he had meant to do before going to the doctor.
"He never inquired as to whether or not I want more than one kid." As he left the bedroom and into the kitchen, Jin murmured, "I should not feel bad about this either. Look how many children he has. I never got to have any say in that. I will return his ring to him if he becomes angry with me."

When Jungkook walked into the dining room with a bouquet in his hands, Jin was in the middle of setting the table, and he stopped what he was doing and looked up at him.
"I brought you these," Jungkook said with a smile as he walked up to Jin and handed him the flowers.
Jin was taken aback, and after setting the bowl in his hand on the table, he extended his hands to accept the bouquet from Jungkook, "these are beautiful, thank you." He examined the roses, which he had never gotten before, and he was taken by how beautiful and delicate they were. He smelled them and then returned his gaze to Jungkook, "I will take care of them."
"Do you truly like them? There were so many colors to select from and so many different meanings to choose from that I did not know what to do with them all, but I did not want it to appear like a circus and figured you would prefer this to something too colorful, did I do a good job?"
"You did, and I love them; the red and white complement each other, and this is something I have never received before, so it seems, I do not know, sort of sweet getting them from you and knowing that you put effort into it that you did make me happy," Jin said, looking down at the flowers. Although he had a lot on his mind, receiving the roses from Jungkook gave him a moment of happiness.
Jungkook moved closer to him, taking the flowers from his hands and placing them on the table. He then dragged Jin closer to him by wrapping his arms around his waist, saying, "It makes me pleased to hear you enjoy these," before kissing him on the lips.
Jin responded to the kiss and pulled back, "You should go shower; I will have dinner on the table by the time you are done."
"Come take a shower with me, and by the way, how was your day at the doctor with Moon?"
Hearing Jungkook's question, Jin swallowed, "It went well; Moon is doing great."
"That is great; will you join me in the shower? You fell asleep on me last night, and I could not stop thinking about you today," Jungkook inquired, his hands creeping under Jin's shirt.
Jungkook sighed and backed away from Jin when they heard Moon cry, saying, "I suppose that is a no."
"I am sorry, she has been asleep since we got back from the doctor; maybe later we can do something." Jin quickly pulled back from Jungkook and went towards the room to attend to Moon.

When Jungkook returned from the shower, he saw Jin and Moon sound asleep in their bed, to his disappointment. This surprised him since Jin did not go to bed early, particularly when they had not eaten dinner, as they had been doing for the past month as a couple.
