"Wow, it is very clean and nice here, Seokjin." Jin's mother walked around his apartment suite within the Kingdom, noticing everything while his father followed behind her.
Jin smiled happily, "thank you, mom; I have been keeping it clean."
His mother smiled as she turned to look at him, "It makes me happy that you are maintaining the values that we taught you. Though son, if I may ask, have you gained a bit of weight? You look great, by the way; I love this look on you."
Jin became nervous when he heard his mother's question, and he didn't know how to explain that, he was expecting. "Mom-" When the bell rang, Mom cut off his words. He groaned thankfully. "I should get that."
"I wonder what he does here; this place is very nice that he lives in. This apartment is almost larger than our house." Jin's father murmured to his wife, "I am happy that my son can live here comfortably, and I know that I will be happy knowing he will be well taken care of one day."
"Our Jinnie is special, so I am not surprised that he got a job here. Hopefully, he's not having any difficulty."
"You know him; he would not tell us if he were."
"That's why I have been reading his eyes, there is something off, but I don't know what it is. What do you think it is?"
Jin's father looked at his wife and shrugged, "I don't know; he seems happy to me."
"I know, but what if he is just happy because we are here?"
"You worry too much about him. If he were unhappy, he would tell us or give us a hint. "I think we raised him well enough for him to be honest with us."
"You are right; I guess I am worrying too much, it's been so long since I saw him-"
"Mr. & Mrs. Kim, it's so amazing to see you both! How are you doing?" Jimin questioned as he approached them with a smile.
Both of them bowed to Jimin, "Oh, Prince Jimin, how are you? You're so kind to invite us here; we're happy to be with our son after so long without seeing him. You appear to have kept your word and taken excellent care of him."
Jimin smiled as he looked at Jin's parents, "it is my pleasure; upon discovering it was Jin's birthday, I knew the best gift I could have possibly given him was a surprise visit from both of you. He has never gone a day without telling me how much he misses you both. I hope this weekend is a special one for you all, and you enjoy it well. We have reserved one of the guest quarters for you both to relax in while you are here, and later today, you and Seokjin are invited to join my fiance and me for dinner and a movie."
Jin's parents looked at each other and said, "Ooh, wow, that is nice of you, but it is not necessary. It's okay for us to stay here with Jinnie. I want to make him one of his favorite meals if that is okay with you?"
"I apologize for not considering that, of course."
"Please do not apologize, Prince Jimin. In appreciation for your kindness, may I extend an invitation to you and your fiance to attend dinner with us here, if it is convenient for you?"
Jimin smiled brightly, "he and I would love that; thank you so much."
Jin stood by the entryway, watching Jimin and his parents. He was grateful that Jimin stopped by, and he had asked Jimin to stay as he didn't trust himself around his parents as seeing them made him emotional, and he was trying to remain strong. Jin was also grateful to Jimin for bringing his parents to him despite the King's wishes, and once he heard that Jimin got the Queen's permission, he felt relieved. He figured that if the Queen approved, then there would be no problems with the King.
