As Jin stared at his neck scar that was still healing, he sighed, "I must make the remedy my mother used to make and apply it before this scar becomes permanent. Will they be kind enough to give me the things I need to make it?" He wondered to himself but stood back from the mirror as the doorbell rang. "Must be my dinner."
Walking slowly to the door, he opened it as a woman appeared, carrying a tray, and he noticed a smile on her face. Jin returned her smile and was about to accept the tray from her hands when the Prince appeared; Jin stepped back when he saw the Prince.
It was hurtful for Jimin to see how quickly Jin's expression changed. Glancing at the staff, "I will take it from here." Taking the tray and dismissing her, he walked into Jin's quarters, closed the door behind him, and watched as Jin moved even farther away from him without speaking.
When Jimin found himself at the dining table, he put the tray down and then walked back to where Jin was standing. As he watched Jin stare at him, Jimin could see the evident hurt in his eyes and was even more regretful for his actions.
"Could we talk, Jin? I came earlier, but you didn't answer despite me ringing the bell several times, and the King's guards were here, so I figured it wasn't the best time."
"What are the reasons for what you did to me? How come you seem to like me?" Jin spoke up, moving toward the sofa and sitting down. It was painful on his legs to stand throughout and talk to the Prince, although he hoped he would leave soon.
Jimin walked towards Jin, "I am sorry, Jin, I do like you. I didn't mean for you to get hurt."
"I believe you are lying to me again. You said I was coming here to serve another Prince, but that wasn't the case when I got here. It was the King. As soon as I learned this, even though I was sad, I forgave you. Secondly, you made me take birth control without my knowledge. I trusted you into believing you were telling the truth, but you were misleading me. It doesn't seem like you like me; when you like someone, you don't treat them the way you have treated me. My parents trusted you as well, and you betrayed them." As Jin spoke honestly to the Prince, it made him emotional thinking of what the Prince had done to him, but he tried his best not to cry.
On seeing Jin's apparent pain, Jimin could not help but cry. Due to his irrational thinking, he had caused Jin to suffer, and he hated he had caused harm to someone innocent. This made him lower himself to the ground and bow to Jin, "Jin, I am truly sorry."
Jin jumped down to the floor and pulled Jimin up, "P-please don't do that, you can't do that, I am no one for you to bow before."
Jimin yanked his hands away, putting himself back on his knees, "no, I must do this; I want you to know I am sincere about my apology to you-"
"I believe you; I believe you, please get up. I can't have you do this, please." Jin pleaded with the Prince and got on his knees, stunned that the Prince would do such a thing. It was unheard of to see someone like him do this.
Looking at Jin, Jimin wiped away his tears, "I-I didn't think it through what I was doing, I thought I was helping, but that's not what I did, I brought danger onto you and possibly your family, and I am so sorry, I am really sorry Jin. This wasn't how I imagined things; I know my brother is a monster, I know he is horrible, but I thought because you are you, it would make a difference, but I underestimated him."
It pained Jin to see the Prince crying, "it's okay, it's okay, you didn't mean it, I get it. Please get up; you can't be down here like this. I will listen to you if we sit on the sofa."
