As he was cleaning, Jin felt a wave of satisfaction as he gazed around the kitchen. He found himself longing for Jungkook's presence lately, but at least there was a noticeable decrease in the mess, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He found comfort in the cleanliness of their home.

Having a spotless house brought him joy, but he quickly realized that others didn't appreciate it, so he was encouraged to seek help. Although he had reservations about how therapy would address his enjoyment of cleaning, he was open to giving it a try because he was uncertain about how Jungkook perceived this aspect of his personality. He was determined to do everything in his power to strengthen their relationship, just like Jungkook's commitment to self-improvement.

Deep down, he knew that tonight, he wasn't cleaning every surface in the kitchen because he believed they were dirty. He was doing it out of anxiety. He had acted in a way that was probably not appropriate. Despite his best efforts to convince himself otherwise, he couldn't help but carry out the act he had been centered on.

He was surprised by the Queen's unexpected decision to allow him to remain in her presence for a while without being kicked out. He appreciated her attentiveness as he only wanted the best for Jungkook. He was well aware of the challenges Jungkook had faced, and the encounter with the Queen only served to validate that.

He was also aware that Jungkook had caused a lot of pain to innocent people who did not merit his hatred due to the things that he had experienced. That was something Seokjin wanted to address. Despite his optimistic outlook for his future with Jungkook, he couldn't shake off the constant worry of Jungkook's unpredictable outbursts of anger.

Jin found it frustrating that anyone should be concerned about their safety due to the King's instability. He desired for people to see the King and experience a sense of admiration rather than encountering him and being overwhelmed by fear.

After hearing their front door unlock, he clenched his jaw and hastily wiped the towel he was holding over the counter one more time.  As he pondered whether or not the Queen had brought up his visit there to Jungkook and the circumstances surrounding it, a feeling of unease twisted in his stomach.

He was hesitant to disclose to Jungkook that he had visited her, preferring to avoid discussing the details of his visit. Nevertheless, it proved challenging for him to withhold information, especially if Jungkook wanted to know the details.

"Seokjin, where are you?"

"The kitchen is where I am right now," Jin responded as he folded the towel while nervously nibbling on his upper lip.

After what felt like an eternity, Jungkook's footsteps finally echoed through the room, signaling his presence in the kitchen. He placed the towel to the side and turned towards the direction he expected Jungkook to approach from.

"Please don't tell me you are cleaning. Is Moon asleep?" When Jin was finally within reach, Jungkook wasted no time in approaching him and embracing him tightly.

Jin wriggled free from Jungkook's embrace, pointing out, "You're still dressed in your outdoor attire."

"I can't hug you? I have been gone; you didn't miss me?"

"Of course I missed you, but your clothes are dirty."

Jungkook playfully rolled his eyes at Jin before pulling him back into a warm embrace, holding him even closer. He forcefully pressed their lips together. He detected Jin's effort to escape, yet he held onto him tightly, compelling Jin to relax, which led to their kiss being reciprocated.

It had been a week since he had last seen Seokjin in person, and the separation had taken a toll on him emotionally. He hoped Jin would accompany him, but upon learning about the challenges associated with his daughter's travel and the potential safety concerns with outside and the dirt involved, Jungkook chose to let the matter go for the sake of his own peace of mind. Nevertheless, he was determined not to let it slide again.
