Not just a marriage, but a settlement
Not just a bond, but a custom,
Not just a consummation, but a requirement.
Not just a story, but much more than that.
Its a short story..... So hop on the boat n relish the enigmatic journey.
Name of char...
"main jakar kya karunga? tum aur Aarav chale jao" sidharth excused as he returned from office totally vexed and spend. He was reluctant to go with her in the wedding. The reason probably, him being the odd one out in the ceremony. Ofcourse! He doesn't know anyone there. Mens behave like this offen, whey they dont get the crowd of their own. Woane or female to be precise are more versatile in this field, they amalgamate themselves with less reluctancy in such situations. As if this was something they have in their inheritance from the descendents they are tend to leave their house after marriage to adjust in another family, aith strongers around her most of the times. They build their world with those strange people as her family.
"sidharth please! Apne bola tha " she insisted loosening his tie and pulling it over his head.
"haan... But... You know na, main waha janta bhi nhi hoon kisi ko.... Kya karunga I'llget bored. Do one thing take maa with you! " he advised, making an escape for himself. Acting all like a stiff necked person.
"mummyji ko! Are u serious sidharth? Kal se tabiyat kharab hai unki. Vo to phle se hi mana karri hain....khair chalein jane dein, main aur arav hi chale jayege. " she muttered half heartedly. Thought she knew that this trick would ultimately coaxed him.
"acha wait! Chalta hoon tumhare sath... Dont get upset" he said with a surrendering smile, looking at her sullen face ,she made while taking her new saree out of the cupboard.
"but, only on one condition! " he said taking the saree from her hand.
"what? " she asked perplexed.
"you will not wear this saree " he commanded, removing her dupatta off her neck.
"but sidharth, this is what i was supposed to wear. Issi ke liye to shopping gaye the! " she exclaimed
"sshhh... Wait " he shushed her keeping his finger on her lips. He took another box from the cupboard and hand it over to her.
"wear this. " he mumbled softly.
"ye.. Ye kya hai " she opened the box, only to find a beautiful and classy blue color siffon saree with a sleevless blouse. Its wasn't that goudy and glittery but simple ,shimmery yet elegant . Just the way she likes. Plus the blouse was beautiful too. After their marriage she never wore anything this classy and stylish. She was already in awe with that saree, just by looking at it.
"its so beautiful! " the only words slipped from her mouth.
"u like it? "
"ofcouse! I love it... Thank you. " she was quick to reply. All smitten with the efforts he had put in forthfor her.
"but... Ye kab laye...? " she asked.
"when you were busy shopping for that boring silk saree, maine socha kyu na thodi shopping tumhare liye hi kr lungi...your taste had gone a bit boring monotonous, dull, repitative and tedious " he sniggered, folding his arms across his chest.
"thats mean sidharth! " she rolled her eyes balls .
"acha now go and change! Otherwise we will be late, we have to return on time. Kal important day hai tumhara. You have to be prepared as well. " he exclaimed, pushing her inside the washroom.
She came out after wearing the saree, looking absolutely enchanting and captivating. Drooling at your wife is considered to be the most legitimate thing one can ever do. Sidharth thought in his mind and smiled.
