My hands are deep in the sink, soap inking my hands as I scrub some of the dirty dishes from our breakfast. A pair of hands place themselves on my waist and a hot breath fans my ear. A small smile breaks onto my face as I continue to wash the dishes.
His hands start to outline my side down to the base of his white button up shirt. He slowly inches his hands underneath the shirt, laying his hands directly onto my skin.
"Hm." I hum as I look at Matt over my shoulder.
"I was thinking of maybe inviting Foggy and Karen over today." He whispers as he leans his chin on my shoulder, his hands still moving against my skin.
"Yeah?" I ask in slight joy, finally able to meet his friends.
"I mean...if you're up to it." He smirks teasing at my obvious excitement.
"You're call." I say trying to play it off. He chuckles and nods his head lightly against me before taking his chin off my shoulder but not before placing a kiss on my neck that's peaking through the shirt collar.
"Get ready, I wanna go out and buy some stuff." He orders as he slowly takes his hands out of my shirt.
I nod and start to finish up the dishes. Once I place them all to dry I walk into his room and start to get dressed. I slip out of my hanging shorts and Matt's white button up, folding them and putting them aside. Instead I go through my section of the closet and pull out a simple outfit consisting of dark blue low rise jeans, and a tighter long red tank top.
I shrug on my jeans and button the top and zip it up. I make sure the line of my underwear doesn't peak through before throwing the shirt over my head. I leave some of the top buttons undone before pulling the shirt down accentuating my figure. I quickly throw my hair up in a clip, causing some strands to fall out in front due to them not being as long as the rest of my hair.
I slip on a pair of shoes and grab my purse with some money and keys in it.
"Ready?" I ask Matt as I start to walk to where he's seated.
"Yeah." He answers as he walks towards me, placing his glasses over his nose.
He opens the door for me and motions for me to walk through. I roll my eyes playfully as I walk through the door. He locks it and grabs ahold on my hand.
"Where's your stick?" I ask as I look at him as we walk down the stairs.
"I don't need it today, I have you." He answers with a wide smile as we walk out onto the street.
"You trust me with your life?" I ask with a teasing tone.
"More like I'm protecting you." He quips as his hand leaves my own, instead he snakes his hand up to the small of my back, gently leading me.
"You worry too much." I speak as we walk through the streets.
"You call it worry, I call it prepared." He counters as we enter a supermarket.
"Hm." I hum as we start to get ingredients.

"Do you have everything?" Matt asks me as we start to head back to his apartment.
"Just one more thing, I wanna stop by the liquor store." I tell him as I grab a hold of his hand and drag him into my go to store.
"Ivan!" I say happily to the local store owner.
"Daeva!" The older man vocalizes loudly. "I haven't seen you in weeks! You're my regular." He says with a raised brow.
"Sorry I was busy Ivan." I tell him as I place the heavy bags onto the checkered floor.
"What can I do for you...and your friend." He says with a sneaky smile.
"I need my regular, if it's been imported recently." I say hoping my favorite home land drink has arrived to the Americas.
"Always! Anything for my favorite customer." He grins as he dips behind the counter before standing back up with a case of vodka's.
My eyes widen as I laugh.
"Thank you, Ivan. I'll just need two." I tell him as I take out two large heavy bottles out of the cardboard box.
"Ah! Going light today." He jokes as he begins to charge me.
"Can't drive him away now." I joke nudging Matt's side.
"He looks scrappy, he could handle you." He jokes in Russian with a wink. I laugh as he grab my purse.
"I have it." Matt interrupts as he puts a hand over my own.
"You've paid for everything, let me get the alcohol." I tell him.
"I got it." He repeats as he hands Ivan a hundred dollars.
"I like him!" Ivan's loud voice books. I laugh and shake my head.
"So do I." I state with a smile as I tap Matt's face lightly as he grabs his change.
"Say hello to Nina for me." I tell Ivan as I grab the bags off the floor.
"Oh course! Have a nice day Daeva." He speaks happily. Matt and I exit the store and head home, our hands full of bags. However his shoulder never leaves my side.
