"Seriously guys?" I ask sipping my coffee as I stare at Foggy and Matt who expect my answer.

"C'mon! It'll be fun." Foggy presses with a smile as he leans over the desk, pouting his lips. I bling slowly at them as I think about what they're asking of me.

"Don't make him cry." Matt jokes as he nods his head at Foggy. Foggy looks back at Matt before spinning his head to me.

"Yeah don't make me cry!" He exclaims. I smirk and roll my head back and spin on the wheely chair in Matt's office.

"Fineee." I sigh as I set down my coffee. "What do I need to do?" I ask them.

"All you need to do is pretend to be the judge while Matt an I play the lawyers for our case." Foggy explains.

"But you are lawyers..." I state dryly.

"Hush, hush." Foggy says pointing a finger in my directing.

"You're shushing the judge?!" I yell at him causing Matt to laugh at our antics.

"You are so difficult." Foggy sighs.

"I've been told." I counter before rolling my hand in a circular motion, indicating for Foggy to continue with his directions.

"Okay, so basically Matt and I present the case and you, the judge, listen and tell us if you would plead with us or against." Foggy finishes explaining.

"Okay." I simply say as I sit back and watch as they do their whole presentation in front of me.

After they were done they look at me expecting my plead.

"I feel for Ms. Eleana Cardenas, I plead to to investigate her landlord and lower the taxes." I answer easily. Foggy and Matt smile at each other with their job well done presenting.

"Nice, now we just need it to happen for real." Foggy speaks with a wide smile.

"You guys were great, I bet it'll work out." I encourage before looking out the window.

"It's late, we should head home." Matt speaks as he prepares his bag.

"Late? It's 8:30." I chuckle.

"I'm tired." He counters causing me to furrow his brows in suspicion.

"Okay?" I drag as I glance at Foggy who shrugs but I notice his hand fiddling slightly, his tell of him lying.

"What are you doing tonight?" I ask Foggy, testing him.

"Might order some Chinese." He answers as he glances at Matt.

"Okay, well see you later." I answer as I stand up and throw out my empty plastic cup into the trash bin.

"Yeah, night guys." Foggy speaks while Matt hands me my light jacket for the slightly chill October weather.

I slip it on and wait for Matt who too places his jacket on. Once we do he grabs my hand and leads me out their building.

"He's acting odd." I chuckle as we walk down the street, about to start our trek home.

"Foggy's an odd guy." Matt counters. I stay silent before shrugging in agreement even if I have my doubts about tonight.

We walk turn down a street we normally don't take grabbing my attention.

"Uh, Matt?" I ask as we walk hand in hand down the dark sidewalk. He hums in response, barely looking down at me.

"We don't go down this street, we go down-" I start to say before but he cuts me off.

"I know." He counters before continuing to lead us home. My mind spins as I think of all the possible things he's doing that Foggy knows of.

When we stop in front of his apartment he lets go of my hand and taps his pockets for his keys, once he finds them he opens the door and walks up the stairs. Once we make it to his door he unlocks it and motions for me to go first. I smile lowly at him before walking in, I switch the lights on to see Foggy and Karen standing in the middle of the room holding balloons.

"Happy two years in New York!" They yell loudly. A smile breaks onto my face as they walk up to me and give me strong hugs. Matt swings his arm over my shoulder and pulls me to his side.

"How did you know it was today, I didn't tell you guys?" I ask blatantly.

"I might've asked Karen to do a deep search on you." Matt answers with a wry smile.

"Girl, how did you not get caught with those fake birth certificates?" Karen asks with a surprised face.

"I'm good at lying and photoshop." I counter with a small upturned smile. Karen laughs before dragging Foggy away so Matt and I could have a moment.

"You didn't look too surprised." Matt states as he releases me from my side hug, only for him to hold me in his arms in front of him, his arms wrapped around my waist as he pulls me into him.

"You two aren't the best liars." I counter as I look up at him with a smile.

"I'll have you know I've been keeping you know what a secret for years." Matt whispers down into my ear.

"Yeah I caught onto them not knowing a while ago." I sigh as I look back to see Foggy and Karen laughing by Matt's sofa.

"Good, because you can't tell them." Matt states. I shake my head and look up at them.

"You keeping this from them isn't gonna end well." I warn him, already seeing the future.

"That's a problem for later. Right now we have you to celebrate." He whispers before placing a long kiss over my lips.

"Are you two done! I wanna get trashed!" Foggy groans as he points to the large bottle of vodka with a big red ribbon on it. Matt and I break apart as my eyes go wide.

"Oh my..." I start with a large smile plastered on my lips.

"Let's open this bitch!" Karen yells as she lets the balloons float up to the high ceiling. I yank the ribbon off as we all start to pour our glasses for the night and rest of the morning.
