Omg im so sorry I didn't realise how long it's been until @_why-do_we_ facetimed me and mentioned it that they thought I was dead :) Ly! And I love ur new shoes, remind me of lady gaga and you need to come round soon!- sorry side rant. Also, a little birdy told me that some of u apparently were talking w @_why_do_we_ abt how u guys were jealous of them or something bcs they know me irl which is adorable! And I'm a little mind blown by that... Anyway! I'm sorry again for the wait and this chapter probably not going to be very good so yeah! And I've already mentioned to a few of you that I've got some skl stuff I need to work out over the next couple weeks so updated might be a little more crappy and late... sorry. Now on to the chapter!*

Alice's POV

I just hoped out of the shower, excited for my date that I was supposed to leave for in an hour. "Let's get this show on the road.." I mutter, sitting down in front of my 'beauty station' in my towel.

I kept catching my own eye in the mirror while I was drying my hair. Am I making a mistake? Is it wrong for going on a date after my love has passed without me? Will Pepper Potts even like me? Passed through my mind.

I laughed it off, "I'm being stupid."

Within the next twenty minutes I had gotton ready. Wade and Harley told me yesterday that we were going to wear something like a Halloween costume, so I got them to help me pick something. In the end Wade lended me his suit to wear.

I sat on my couch in the Deadpool suit, mask lying beside me. It felt odd, this suit had saved people of New York before and now I'm sat here waiting to go on a date in it.

When my timer went for when I should leave I jumped up and grabbed my keys, wallet and phone (Wade said I wouldn't need a coat because he and Peter did something to make it warm in all weathers.. I kind of trust that so I didn't take my jacket).

No One's POV

Alice nervously walks up to the restaurant where she was supposed to be meeting Pepper. Her hands were in her pockets, head down, avoiding all the strange looks she was getting. People thought she was going to some sort of convention, one young couple even asked for a photo with her (which she took, expecting Wade to come back and have it somehow).

"Alice?" A voice intruded her thoughts.

Alice looked up from her feet, looking into the eyes of Pepper Potts. "Yeah.." She breathed out, relived she came, "Nice to meet you Pepper Potts." She held out a hand.

Pepper smiled, "Nice to meet you too." But she ignored the extended hand and went straight to a hug, "Handshakes are for strangers.. I feel like we're not.."

They head inside the restaurant, waiting in a little queue (does anyone know how to spell that actually let me know) "Oh, I just noticed, that's Natasha's isn't it." Alice referred to the Black Widow costume Pepper was wearing.

"Yep. Deadpool, right?"

Alice nodded, still nervous, "We're going to be the only people in here in costume aren't we." She said, kind of checking Pepper out discreetly as possible, not knowing that Pepper was doing the same to her.

Pepper smiled, "Probably, Harley and Wade (?) told you to wear a costume right?"
When Alice nodded, they both chuckled at the silliness of their family.
