**HIIIII Sorry, sorry. Okay, this is a short one but hopefully alright, nonetheless. Hopefully I'll get better at finding time to write. Love you guys! Hope you're having a good day! **

Wade's POV

Study lessons with the oldies were alright. Both Steve and Bucky were quick learners, and it seemed so was Natasha from what Harley told me. To be honest I have most fun with Steve's pop culture lessons in the gym every morning. Seeing an over 100-year-old man struggle to remember what order the Kardashian sisters go in and try to remember the lyrics to Yesterday while doing over 1000kg on the bench press (even though the weight wasn't a lot to the Captain America). Over time we were able to start looking into our collage applications. I decided I am going to apply for Coloumbia and hope for the best. Despite what Harley and my now official bunch of parents keep telling me that I need to apply for me than one university but it's not like I'm in any rush! The nursing course at Coloumbia looked good and had everything I wanted so easy decision, especially since it had a 'part time' option which would allow me to have more time with Sofia as well as my meetings with Alice. NYU seemed to be the main choice for Harley, but he also sent off an application to Coloumbia in case NYU rejects him (as if).

My mind was everywhere but in the room with me. Harley and our custody lawyer continues to yap to each other about our next steps and blah blah blah, the inspection of her living environments. Apparently, there's a limit of people allowed to be living in the house in order for an adoption, but surely, it's fine because look at the fucking building we live in! And it's not like she wouldn't be protected. However, the main time issue is because as one precaution of adopting all members living in the residence/ known frequent visitors need to be thoroughly checked for criminal records -mainly any criminal acts towards children. Even though not one on the team has any history like that it wasn't much of an issue but because most of the building is always in use with workers, all of Stark Industries employees would need to be checked. This would take a while. Tony is personally assembling a team of people to do this as well as lawyers in case someone lied on their application as Stark Industries is literally partnered with many child abuse charities and therefore requires every employee to be completely clean on this basis. On the bright side it's more likely going to be around my 18th birthday when the adoption goes through so that means our custody is equal from the start.

I look over at Harley, who looked completely locked in, "What?" I whispered.

He looked up from his notes, whispering back, "What?"

"What did she say?" I gesture towards our lawyer who bent down, trying to get something from to bottom of her bag.

"That the first inspection will be in two weeks. Just reminding us to clean up. It's to prove she's safe."

Me and Sofia had been sharing a room for ages since that totally not awkward argument but since we started the adoption, we had to separate our rooms, easy enough as the penthouse alone was full of empty bedrooms but luckily there was one between Harley and Sofia's room. Even though we have separate bedrooms, Sofia ends up sleeping with me most nights. I imagine this is for comfort because she misses Peter; so, do I so I never bother to mention it to her that I notice she does this.

I nod at him, glancing at my watch. "When's the meeting over?"

"In about fifteen minutes- why?" He turned on me, "Where could you possibly need to be right now instead of in a custody meeting for Sofia?" Though his voice was low I could see the passion in his eyes. He was right, there is nowhere more important than where Sofia needs me- but me and Alice said we'd meet in half an hour and if I'm lucky if I left now I'd only be ten minutes late.
