*Um heya, I know this chapter will be short, but it doesn't mean u don't get away w having to listen to my bullshit. Now, update, I've been reading (edit: finished) All The Young Dudes which is great but its making me itch to write a marauders thing but let's be honest, I'm probably better sticking to the Golden Trio Era, also the marauders fandom scare me... Anyway, the Drarry fanfic is still playing in my mind so that might come out soon or after I finish this book (not sure how long it is but I can confirm that there will not be a third book, sorry:( ...). And finally, my studies r pissing me off, struggling w friends, and a lot of writing it to be expected of me now (I have two novels with to different friends so it's very stressful I will not lie as I'm the only one going to be writing it). Now, your turn, tell me about you! Love you all, till the end of the line. *

No One's POV

It was a boring Monday, with both friends at school, the friendly lesbian neighbour was out doing something so Peter was stuck doing schoolwork with his daughter. Unluckily, for Peter, Clint and Steve came over and begged him to let them take Sofia out for a day of bonding. Only because Sofia was so eager to hang out with her step-grandads did he say yes, still very paranoid that someone might be following them, but logic told him that she was probably safer with two Avengers than a overprotective teenage dad. So, yet again, Peter was left alone. For the first time since he had opened that letter.

"Karen?"

"Yes, spider-boss." The disembodied voice replied from his phone on the coffee table.

Peter stretched his legs out over the couch, "I'm bored!"

"And may I ask how that became my problem."

"I created you, now you must repay the favour."

"I have many saved files of where I did you favours. Would you like me to recite them to you."

Sometimes Peter forgot that Karen was not human, and he could not throw something at her, "No! I hate you, tell me again why I even made you?"

"Because dare I say it, you were bored. Plus, you wanted to make your suit better than Wades."

"...Maybe I should get a hobby, if this is the sassy result of me being bored then I need to avoid it at all costs."

"By all means, get a new hobby, I'd get more time to do my stuff. But with your dumbass brain you may have forgotten your must important hobby."

"What?"

Peter could feel the non-existent eyeroll, "How are you seriously this dumb? We were litrelly just talking about why you made me."

It took a moment for it to click in his brain but when he did, he jumped up. "OH! Spidermanning!" He beamed, grabbing his phone and bolting to his room. It took him less than two minutes to move everything aside and pull his suit on. Before he jumped out the window, he texted Steve so someone knew he was going out and wouldn't be home to look after Sofia. Everything seemed to disappear bit by bit with each web shooting out of his wrists. It was a clear and shinning day, so he made his way to the empire state building, saying quick hellos to tourists but he mainly focussed on creating thee perfect picture to add to his New York Skyline Instagram account. Sometimes when it felt right, he would post on there was Spiderman, seeing as the Spiderman account followed it (this being the only non-avenger/Deadpool account he followed) and as the sky was so beautifully crystal clear with clouds dotting around the place, half hiding behind the tall buildings, Peter decided to take a selfie of himself, guiding the sunlight to be his ring light. Somehow through the mask you could still tell he was smiling. The vice grip on his phone to make sure it wouldn't fall to its death (even more so as it was a gift from Harley) only relaxed when he climbed over the railing into the pit of tourists. Seeing as Spiderman was not only famous in New York but all over the world he got pulled this way and that but as he pulled himself away from the crowd, he got more peace and quiet. New Yorkers that were just passing the time up there didn't bother him too much, just looked his way, and so Peter used this to his advantage.
