*Now why are you still here? But as you are here I gotta tell u that this chapter was in plan for months ago but now it's been changed up a bit so I'm nearly 100% sure this will be pretty shit as I just had to scratch half off it and re script it all. Anyway, I love you all and am glad you r still here with this book. Till the end of the line. *

*ALSO, KINDA IMPORTANT!! Last time Pepper and Alice went on a date I asked if anyone wanted to cameo and I had four ppl volunteer: @Binary-Not-Found, @AYYOBITCHWUT, @natalie_dancer25, and @MillyRomanoff. Now as I think it would be slightly odd to use their username in the story, I'm going to make up names for them because 1) I don't know all of their real names 2) id like to keep their names private as I don't have their consent as I'm writing this. I will try and pick a name based on the pronouns I can find in their bios or my discord. Hope they like it. *

No One's POV

A day two people had been waiting for despite the rest seemingly had forgotten. Alice and Pepper were both separately sitting on their beds thinking about what is best to wear. A spark to the extent of which these two women have is extraordinary; it was as if they were already a couple getting ready to go out for a date night after sorting out all their family's drama.

Over in the apartment next door to the man who had all the drama, a badass woman sat drying her hair with a towel, thinking about what shoes goes with her black cargo trousers an army green tank top plus and black zip up hoodie. Sighing she walks over to her default combat boots. I wonder what Pepper is going to be wearing, Alice thought to herself as she put on said boots. As she stood in front of the mirror and decided that she looked decent.

Across the city in a room at the Avengers Tower Pepper Potts, CEO of Stark Industries, was sliding on her heels for a date with a woman she never thought in a million years she would fall for. The only other person she had felt this way for was the man himself, Tony Stark. Before they both admitted to their sexuality's their love was as strong as Captain Americas shield which to their credit never left just the romance died, a true love story. But with this oddly charming, badass, interesting woman Pepper finally felt... complete. As if she wasn't pretending. No lies; to herself or others. To make things better her favourite ex was the fully supportive best friend they promised to be all those years ago. Pushing her to get rid of the mask she showed so many others- not to be Pepper Potts, CEO, but to be 'Pep'. 'Pep' who ugly laughs, snorts, hair falling in her face, bites her nails when she's nervous. To Tony's credit it worked! Alice was basically in love with 'Pep'.

"Hey Pepper, I'm on my way to pick you up so I hope you're ready. Are we still meeting in the lobby?" Alice said over the phone, jaywalking across the street.

"Yeah, I'm ready, just in the elevator right now."

Alice smiled, "So... what's the most powerful CEO wearing to a board game date?"

Alice heard Pepper laugh on the other end of the line, "You can wait and see in a second. How about the crazy woman who lives next to my best friend's son's boyfriend and his daughter."

"Sweet but not as smooth as my line, but you're getting better. Sounds more natural."

"Soon I'll be able to be the one that makes you blush while I laugh. Just you wait."

"Sure, you will, love. Sure, you will."

"I hate you. See you in a minute!"

"See you in a minute." Alice chuckled and entered the building through the spiny doors. Within seconds of walking across the lobby to a pillar that she could lean against on her phone without looking strange as she neither worked there or had any access to anything other than the lobby without Pepper already by her side.
