No One's POV

Days had passed since the second letter was delivered and opened and the anxiety had properly built up. Peter wasn't able to go anywhere without knowing where Wade and Sofia were at all times. Wade had properly taken up residence in Peters apartment (by Peter officially asking him if he would like to move in all his stuff), Peter had set up camp in Sofia's room (letting everyone assume that it was just him being overprotective), and Peter stopped letting Sofia go with people places when he wasn't going as well. So far no one had questioned him when he would grab his jacket after they asked to go out with Sofia, but a few raised eyebrows got exchanged but no one said anything, even when he didn't seem to trust Wade to go out with her anymore. Harley was endlessly confused with Peter, with Peter turning down coming out to see a movie with him, by Peter not wanting to go over to SI that much anymore, and the two most confusing of all is that Peter had started to almost avoid his parents and stepdads and the knowledge that Wade confided in Harley that Peter had been acting differently towards his best friend, almost icy.

None of this was obvious to the one causing it, however. Although Peter knew he needed to distance himself from his friends and family, but he never wanted to make is obvious or worry them. In the end, someone reached out to him.

Peters phone lit up from beside him while he was drinking an icy glass of water at his kitchen table. A text from Steve. "The fuck?" Steve and Peter had barely exchanged texts off the group chat, and nothing more than funny Captain America and Spiderman memes, so this text surprised Peter.

Captain Dad: (Steve)
Hello Peter,
I've noticed you have been acting a little bit off recently and I wondered if you would like to talk.
With me.
I forgot to add that.

Captain Dad:

And don't apologise Peter, but would you like to talk about it?
If not with me, I can ask Buck or Natasha or Clint if you would prefer.
