No One's POV

A week passed and the Parker trio spent most nights and hours during the day spent at SI with the Superhero cult. Everything was going smoothly except for the fact that Peter seemed to be falling in on himself- and not as incognito as he would have hoped. Every single one of his family members along with their extended family had noticed the decline in his mood, the short answers, the face he made when he thought no one was looking, the way he opted out of as many social interactions as he could get away with. Every single one of them wanted to say something but was held back by the one person who loved Peter more than anyone, who was kind and sweet but the moment they decided to, they radiated authority, who could end the world if they wanted too. Wade Wilson stopped everyone as they attempted to get close to question Peter, because Wade knew Peter better than anyone, and he knew that Peter would rather die than have to talk to someone like Sam Wilson or Vision before he was ready.

But this did not mean that Wade wasn't worried. No, not at all, in fact, Wade was most likely the most worried of them all. Not only did he have to lie to everyone that "Peter's totally fine! He's just working through some stuff" but he had to lie to himself with those exact words. However, Wade had seen this before. Only this time Peter had people to live for, he had a boyfriend, a daughter, parents, a big happy family that he always wanted. Why did that matter though? Peter was allowed to feel whatever he wanted no matter what he had in life.

None of this made Wade feel any better about it all, so he decided to talk someone who would get it.

"I don't know what to do!" He exclaimed, letting himself fall back onto a beanbag.

Harley sighed, "Neither do I."

They sat in silence for a few moments, sitting on beanbags opposite to each other, contemplating how on Earth they could be there for a friend who didn't want anyone around.

"Okay," Wade sat up, "Peter's been through a lot. I've known him since we were kids and there's still stuff, I don't know about him, and he's been like this before, so I know he'll be able to bounce back! We just- we just gotta look after Sofia. Sooner or later, she'll notice Peter's mood."

Harley nodded, "Yeah, I agree. But I'm also worried about you."

"What- why?!"

"Because you and Peter are soulmates!" Harley laughed at the look that spread across Wades face, "Not in that way! That's my job- what I mean is that when one of you is sad, the other is sad. When one of you is happy, the other is happy. When one of you is angry, the other is angry. When one of you is about to do something stupid, the other is about to do it with them."

"Fuck off."

"No." Harley smiled, "So, if you want to be sad and not let Peter see, you can always be sad with me."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

Wade smiled, "Thanks."

Friday was family dinner night. No matter what you were doing everyone was to come together on family dinner night. On dinner night there was a seating plan that was planned to be reviewed every month (per request by Sam after he found out he would be sat between Bucky and Clint). Natasha and Sofia were in charge of the seating plan, so it stopped anyone from properly challenging it. Sometimes Bucky would get a say in the seating plan (which is a partial reason for Sam getting stuck there) as Bucky and Natasha took turns taking Sofia to her chemo to spend bonding time with her and creating the seating plan was one of the things, they did to pass the time.
