(Violet)
Silently looking at the barrel of the gun.
"What are you waiting for?" I ask. My gaze flickering as he shoots something behind me. I turn to notice an infected collapse. Espen jumps into my legs to avoid the body as it falls. "You missed." Reassuring Espen that I'm  ok. The man grunts then gestures his gun, telling me to keep moving.
After a few hours we come across this small scout camp. How many people are in his group if this is just a scout camp? I guess I'll have to do a head count when I start killing them. They take my bow and arrows away as they tie my hands behind my back. Leaving me tied to a fence post. At least they didn't take Espen, he lays with his head resting on my lap and his tail curled around himself. I can tell he's frightened and doesn't know what to do.
I get where he's coming from. It takes me almost the entire day to come up with a plan, and to loosen the ropes around my wrists. The sun has already almost gone down. I quickly stop and pretend like I'm still tied as I notice the same guy walking towards me with what looks like a rabbit leg. He's is clearly a moron if he thinks I can eat without hands. "Here," He offers the leg. Espen growls at him. "Not hungry." I snapped at him. He sighs then offers it to Espen, who only keeps growling. He doesn't want the food either. The man sighs annoyed "You're gonna have to get used to being here so let me introduce myself, I'm Clark".
"Nice to meet you asshole now fuck off." I say as I glare at him. His eyebrows furrowed as he stands and walks away with the rabbit leg annoyed. Honestly they need a better way of keeping prisoners instead of just tying them to a fence. They could do so much better, like putting them in a cell or something. But no they chose ropes and posts, what could go wrong. When no one is looking, I slip my hands out of my loosened ropes and stand. There's only a few guards keeping an eye out towards the surrounding forest for infected. Everyone else looks to be sound asleep.
Sneaking towards the large tents shadows, I tell Espen to hide and wait for me. He listens fairly well. Sneaking towards the weapons bench table where they placed my weapons, I quickly gather them up. Enjoying the fact that I got my bow and arrows, and my knife back. Alright now which tent is assholes? Quickly sneaking around debating whether or not to kill some of the guards. I raise my bow, aiming it at the farthest guard so the others won't notice. I shoot him in the back of the head. Ha! Bulls eye.
After killing the rest of the guards and a few people in their tents. I sneak around some more to find assholes tent. Once I find it, I decide to head to the campfire and set a branch on fire. I carry the burning branch all the way to his tent, carefully getting it inside I throw it onto Clark and I quickly leave once it starts to burn him. I quickly sneak around and burn more tents that I can before I take Espen and make my escape. As freedom comes into sight I get tackled. I grunt as I regain my balance and look to see who it is. It's Clark. Ugh how'd he get out?! He's badly burnt, mainly on his hands, chest and face. He is holding a small knife trying to get me. I manage to throw him off and get back up.
As I make my final escape he slashes my side, leaving a deep cut. Once I get enough distance I raise my bow, aiming at him. Wincing to my side as I pull the arrow back. I end up shooting him in his shoulder, right under/near his collarbone. When he falls back to the pain I get Espen and run. After a while we are out of sight, I have no idea where I am now. My side is bleeding pretty bad. Doesn't look like he got anything important. Espen keeps his attention on me, worried. I gestured to him to explain I'm fine, walking over to a fallen dead tree. Sitting down and leaning back against it, I should be safe here for now. Setting by bow down, Espen comes and rests his head on my lap. Still holding my side, eventually the bleeding starts to slow.
