Hot air blew into the blue jeep. Trees flew by as the two drove down the road.

Daryl set in the passenger seat a pair of old shades blocking the sun from his eyes beside him set Willow in the driver's seat a pair of round shades perched on her nose and in the back set blue with his tongue out.

The ride was quiet as the two drove into the small southern Georgia town.

The town had been taken over by the walkers. The first case was a bus boy from the small bar at the edge of town.

Willow slowed down just before entering town.

"Why so far away?" Asked Daryl who was already fixing his crossbow.

"If it's in the middle they might swarm it." She said taking off her sunglasses and slipping them into the glove compartment.

"You take one side, I'll take the other?" She asked.

With a grunt Daryl got out of the jeep with his crossbow resting on his shoulder.

"I'll take that as a yes." Willow sighed.

She clicked her tongue and blue wasted no time in getting to his owner's side.

The two split up. Daryl going to the right and Willow and blue to the left. Daryl entered a small general store while Willow entered the pharmacy.

The pharmacy was quiet and dark with windows boarded up and items from the shelves strawn out on the floor.

"Go look for Charlie food." She said to blue. With a wave of her hand she sent him off.

Willow shuffled through the small messy aisles, her eyes going over each item. She softly placed them into her bag. She picked up different medicines, antiseptics and bandages, Then she moved on to creams and liquids, lastly she found some things for Charlie.

She combed through the small pharmacy twice before she slipped into the back. Willow tapped the hilt of her knife against the countertop. She waited her finger against her lips to try and keep blue quiet as she listened.

Once she deemed it clear she slipped through the creaking door wincing each time it hissed. blue was set behind the counter anxiously waiting for his owner to give him the command to move.

Willow held her blade right in her hand as she tiptoed through the back of the pharmacy. She stepped over fallen pill bottles and other debris.

She walked further inside, her foot kicking a large pill bottle.

She winced, stopping her movements.

She waited for any sign of movement, her knife clutched tightly in her grasp.

Outside the door blue let out a low growl.

Willow tapped on one of the shelves. No response. She tapped again only a bit louder. Still no response.

She loosened her grip on the knife and turned to walk back towards the creaking door back out to the main floor. She sighed in relief.

A hand reached out gripping at the thin fabric of her shirt that was in desperate need of washing.

She let out a yelp and moved as fast as she could. Her body landing against one of the shelves with a loud thud.

Blue let out a loud bark, his bottom still planted in his spot.

In the back of the pharmacy loud groans and dragging limbs sounded throughout the dark back room.

As quick as she could she scrambled to her feet pushing her way through the small opening of the door.
