[warnings: languageThe next morning it was at least seventy six degrees out. Nothing unusual for Georgia weather.
Willow was up before the sun with her head buried deep into the toilet bowl. A raging headache pounded against her skull as everything she ate and drank the previous came spewing out of her. If this world didn't kill her then this hangover would.
Willow spent most of the early morning laid up against the cool porcelain toilet bowl.
When there was nothing left in her she finally began her doctor duties.
Willow made her way down the stairs, her sneakers making small thuds against the wooden floor. Despite the raging headache she had her hair up in neat tight bun.
"Morn'n sunshine." Maggie called out over her shoulder, arm deep in dish water.
Willow mumbled a small 'good morning' as she snagged a piece of half burnt toast from a plate on the counter. "How's Carl?" She asked as she leaned against the cool tile.
Maggie was scrubbing a pan, dish soap up to her elbow. "He only woke up once. Needed a sip of water before passin out again."
Willow hummed in response as she quietly munched on the toast.
"You still goin out on that run later?" She asked
Willow shook her head. "Actually..I need you to go for me." She said taking another bite. "I need to go back to the highway and see if my friends made it."
Maggie nodded. "Just let the others know if they want anything to give me their lists." She said rinsing the soap suds off.
She nodded, kicking off of the counter. "I'll do that now." She moved towards the edge of the kitchen where a plastic white trash can was set. She tossed her remaining bites of toast in the small piece of bread making a small noise as it fell towards the bottom. "You're going with Glenn, he knows the majority of the things that I and the others in our group need."
Maggie stopped drying her hands, heaving a sigh. "Look..this ain't my place to speak but.." she turned towards Willow, her eyes hard and angry. "Y'all are takin advantage of Glenn. He's a good guy and y'all are treating him like your own personal delivery boy." She said, hands placed at her hips.
"To be fair Glenn was a delivery boy before this all began." Willow mumbled her hand rubbing the back of her neck nervously.Maggie raised her brows.
"But I'll keep that in mind. Maybe mention to Rick a system for runs." Willow offered giving the woman a small smile.
Maggie nodded, rubbing the remaining wetness onto her dark jeans. "Good. Let me get the horses ready then I'll be ready." She said stepping around Willow and heading out the back door towards the stables.
With a sigh Willow rubbed at her face. Her head was pounding and although the nausea had subsided for now she still felt like she had been hit by a freight train.
"Get it together doctor Moore." She muttered, pinching her arm. "Check on Carl then head outside and get the lists from everyone. How hard can it be?" She sighed, rubbing her face.
With one more pinch Willow was on the move. Her boot cladded feet never stopping as she went from checking on Carl and changing his bandages to the brightly lit outdoors.
Once outside Willow forced a smile. One that said 'no I'm not hungover I'm fine.' The question was was it believable.
"Y'all got any requests?" She asked as she made her way to the group.
Everyone was huddled around a small dead fire pit that was created when they first arrived. Old burnt wood was stacked creating a small circle, leaves and brush was scattered atop the small pile.
"Glenn and Maggie are headin out soon." Willow called out.
"Damn girl you smell like a liquor store." Dale grimaced, holding his nose.
Willow cupped her hand and breathed into it sniffing her breath. She has brushed her teeth so much that her gums had bled.
"Write down what you need and I'll get it." Glenn chirped in. His baseball cap resting high on his head.
"Necessities only!" Shouted Shane. His loud voice booming over the small group. "We don't have the room to keep anything that isn't needed." The man looked over the group eyeing each and every person until finally they all answered.
"Hey Glenn!" Willow called for her friend.
Glenn was crouched by the small camper in the shade where he was packing what he needed for the run. "What's up?" He asked, looking up from his crouched position.
Willow looked around before crouching next to him. "I need you to do me a favor." She said in a low voice.
"Why are we whispering?" Glenn asked following her gaze.
"You can't tell anyone about this." She whispered, leaning in closer. "Nobody can know about this. This is between me and you."
Glenn nodded wearily. "Okay.."
Willow pulled out a folded up piece of paper from her pocket. "I need everything on this list." She said, pushing the crumpled paper into his hands. Willow looked around again afraid someone saw.
"Tampons..prenatal vitamins..pregnancy test..toothpaste-" Glenn's eyes widened his head snapping to Willow. "Pregnancy test!" He shouted.
Willow's hands flew to his face, covering his mouth. "Shhh!" She hissed. "Keep your voice down." She turned her head looking around the group.
"You're pregnant?" Glenn whispered.
"Will ya just get it for me and stop asking questions." She sighed. "When I know for sure I'll let you know, Glenn."
Glenn nodded. "Yeah yeah of course." He said, slipping the paper into his pocket.
"You ready Rhee?!" Maggie called out from atop a large brown horse. A cowboy hat set on top of her head shielding her eyes from the sun.
"Tell anyone about the list and I fuck your girl ya hear?" Willow hissed at Glenn nodding towards Maggie.
Glenn gulped, rising to his feet. "Yea yea ready to go." He mumbled slinging his bag over his shoulder. "Giddy up." He huffed taking one last look at Willow before mounting his own brown horse.

[AUTHORS NOTE]
Chapter 12 is short I know. I'm just getting back into the habit of writing. A lot has changed since my last update. I graduated (yay me!), quit my job and got a new one, almost couldn't graduate because of something the school did twice!(my school sucked ass), my car broke down twice once because my tire popped and the other because smoke was pouring in through the air vents, was on tinder and bumble for awhile (I'm 18 soon to be 19 btw), had a failed talking stage because the guy was a whore (and still is), rekindle a relationship with a friend, the list goes on!! Updates will hopefully happen more due to free time for a bit until I'm off into the real world adulting. Also in light of the new season of stranger things I might start writing one haven't decided! If anyone has any theories about part two then list them below I'm dying to hear them!
Unlike next chapter my friends:)
