She used the time since the kidnapping, the number of people, the means of transport available and any other the information she could get her hands on about the soldiers to make a radius of possible locations where they could be hiding. She managed to narrow it down to three possible places where Hydra would get everything they needed to get information and the serum. She was about to leave to go location by location when she recognized the name of the third location on her list.
Flashback:
Young bucky and Natasha are laying down in a couch on a small apartment, watching a movie.
Nat: Hey James?
Bucky: Uhm? – he answers, distracted with the movie. She pauses it.
N: How was your life before here? You know everything there is to know about my past, but you never told me much...
B: Uhmm I used to have a pretty normal life actually, but when I was 19, me and my best friend volunteered to fight for the US army. I fell down a mountain during a mission and Hydra decided to make me their lab rat for the new super soldier program. They didn't expect it to work, but it did. But I refused to hurt anyone, so they tied me up to a chair and somehow hypnotized me into making anything they asked.
N: That sounds hard... I'm sorry you had to go trough it
B: Well, it has its perks... I met you, didn't I? – she smiles – And besides, the place I was before coming here was this prison they called "Black river" because of a polluted river nearby, and my job was pretty much torturing people for information. So I'm going to stay here for as long as I can. – he smiles – You're not going to get rid of me any time soon Talia.
N: I'm not going to complain. – she says smiling. They hug and he lies back down. They go back to watching the movie and drinking vodka together, and just for a moment, they are normal.
