Ethan (the handsome guy) took her to the middle of the dance floor, and they started dancing. His hands in her waist, but it didn't give her butterflies like Steve's touches used to give her. They were slow dancing , and then, she made eye contact with Steve.
Each one dancing with their dates, but neither of them could look away. It felt like they were dancing with each other, not separated by 7 meters. It felt weird, slow dancing with someone else, but only thinking about each other. Steve forgot Sharon existed, there was nothing in his mind but Natasha. He was incredibly jealous when he saw her going down the stairs; every man in the party looking at her, but he didn't realize she wasn't even looking at any of the other guys, because for her, there was only him.

Steve realized in that moment, that there was nothing he could do; that no matter how many Sharons, how much anger, how many fights, he fell for that woman too hard to ever get back up again.
Nat felt like she was dying and flying at the same time, it felt like a vibration, like an entire ocean was inside her. It felt like love, and that really scared her. So, she broke eye contact and practically ran away from the party. She gave a quick excuse to her date and left. Suddenly she had a headache, and the room around her was spinning, so she went to the only place she could think of.
