And then, they hear someone clearing their throat. It's the party organizer.

Organizer: excuse me Ms. Romanoff. Everything is settled for you; the piano was just placed. Whenever you are ready.

N: Thank you, I'll be right there.

He leaves, she looks at Steve, who's trying his best to not be pissed (he wasn't very successful, but at least he tried right? :))

N: I have to go, this is something I promised Tony. We'll talk after?

S: Yeah, we can talk after.

N: Ok. - She says, already leaving – I'm really sorry – he hears her saying from the distance

He gathers himself, and goes back to the party.

Nat is now sitting at a piano, in front of the entire party, everyone is silent, waiting to hear what she has to say.

N: Hi everyone! I'm Natasha, I'm Tony's friend/sister and I'm here because I lost a bet to him

Everyone was confused, including Pepper, who had no idea this was going to happen.

N: A few years back, when we were trying to revert the blip, me and Tony were talking about how dangerous our lives were, and how lucky we were for being alive and for having the people we loved. He told me: "you know, we've been pretty lucky until now, I don't think this luck will last much longer. Not all of us will make it out of here." It started as just another one of our weird conversations at 4am because of another night with insomnia (I have PTSD, he had anxiety) but we ended up talking for hours, watching the sun rise. We were talking about, if we left, what legacy we were leaving here. I asked him what he wanted to be remembered for. I thought he would talk about all the superhero stuff , or the philanthropy, or the women.

Everyone laughed, even Pepper agreed

N: You know what he answered? He said "my legacy is Morgan and Pepper; well, I think I'm more of Pepper's legacy than she is mine. You know, she should get the credit for dealing with me." - Pepper laughs - "But... I want to be remembered for my stupid dad jokes that Morgan rolls her eyes for. I want to be remembered from my play dough animals that I make with Morgan, for the first day we went to the beach, and I taught her to jump waves, for the day I tried to make breakfast in bed for Pep on her birthday and ended up setting the toast on fire and she ended up waking up to the smell of smoke and the fire detector beeping. I want to be remembered for every time I had the privilege of making my girls laugh, and every time I looked into the eyes of my wife and daughter and thought I would do anything for them, I would sacrifice the whole world, and then myself, if it meant they were well and happy. That's what I want to be remembered for, because in the end, that's what matters.".

Nat was now crying, and so was Pepper and half of the party.

N: Tony - Nat's voice breaks - Tony was the best brother I could ask for. That day, we made a bet. Whoever made it alive, if the other one didn't, they would have to tell our little secret to the world. So here it is: mine and Tony's little secret. Every now and then, we would get together and do the less superhero thing there is in the entire world. We would sing. I would play the piano and sing, and he would do the backing vocals and sing horrible raps in the midst of the choruses of the songs.

Pepper laughed, tears still in her eyes

P: That's very Tony

N: Yeah, it is – Nat said smiling. – sometimes we would sing rock songs, and old songs that Tony liked, but usually the repertory was quite sweet actually, really depended on our mood. So, I'm going to sing one of the songs we used to play together, in Tony's honor. – she raised a glass of champagne – This is for you metal can.

She places her hands on the piano, and looks to Steve one last time before starting:

Steve's point of view:

Gosh, she's something else. Her voice, her hair, her eyes, her mouth. Great! Now I can't stop staring at her lips. And you know what's funny? When someone is this pretty and this talented you don't expect them to also be so selfless, caring, brave and just as amazing of a human being as she is. But that's Natasha ladies and gentlemen.

And then I look at the crowd and see Sharon looking for me. It's not fair to her to think this has any future. I should end this as soon as possible. The music stops playing. Everyone applauds and I see a man screaming

Random not sober man: DAMN DOES THIS WOMAN HAS ANY FLAWS??

Random man 2: WILL YOU MARRY ME???

She laughs, a laugh of someone that was taken by surprise. The kind of laughter that she throws her head back. I smile at her, she smiles back, now with that sideways smile that I know and love.

Random man 3: PLAY SOMETHING ELSE FOR US

Everyone agrees, she looks a little uncomfortable, without knowing what to do, but Pepper interrupts. Now her eyes are all puffy and her nose is red.

Pep: That was amazing Nat, thank you so much. And, if it's ok with you, I think I can speak for everyone saying we would love to hear you a little longer...

N: I would love to. Ok, I know! This was one of Tony's favorites...
