I hear a knock on my door. God that was fast. I was about to leave when, for my surprise, I hear Bucky's voice
B: Steve open up
I open the door and he come in and quickly grabs my shirt and pushes me against a wall.
B: Natalia woke up after passing out on the extraction of a bullet just to find out you are gone. She's going crazy Steve. What are you doing?
S: She's married buck
B: What makes you say that
S: I found her marriage certificate
B: Did you talk to her about it?
S: Well not reall-
B: Then we have that settled; you have to come back. Talk to her, I'm sure she has something to say about it
S: I don't think I want to hear it
B: Steve, I've never seen you as happy as you were with her, and don't think I didn't know. You both deserve this happiness. Do you love her?
S: Yes, of course I love her
B: Then don't you think she deserves a chance to explain herself?
I thought about it. It was kind of mean of me to just leave like that, without giving her a say. I guess after everything we've been through, the least I should give her was the benefit of doubt, she deserved at least that.
B: You are going to marry this woman one day. She's it for you. You know that, think about how much you fought for her. Give her a chance to fight for you
S: You're right
B: Of course I'm right. Now let's go, the car is waiting for us downstairs. it'll take us to the airport.
S: You know me too damn well
