Thursday night at ten pm I was talking to Ashley. I felt like texting the 11th Doctor but he was still in my head from the telpathic mind share so I decided it was a good time to trade. Having two versions of my dad both in my head was a lot. They loved to nag at each other. I never got to talk to my dad really unless it was telpathic. So I told ashley I wanted to trade. "Can I send 11?" I said. She answered "sure" so I prepared to trade. I got in the position and imagined silver making the way for 11. But as I did it when I opened my eyes something felt different this time about the telpathic transfer. It almost felt like it wasn't complete or i didn't get 11 all the way there. I didn't know what it was but I had a feeling there was a problem.
After a while still feeling the bad sense that something went wrong the 11th Doctor texted me.
"I think I got him...it's really soft and it doesn't feel like a normal telepathic or anything...." Ashley states
"Ok tell him to say hi. Cause other wise we might have a problem. Big problem." I say.
"Big problem....even he said we have one..." Ashley confirms
"So that was him so what's the big problem?" I say feeling like I heard his voice saying we've got a big problem.
"I'm not sure....his voice is really quiet like he's yelling from really far away and I can really remember what he's saying..."
"Mind gap.It was called.A mind gap." Eleven answered.
"exactly what I was about to describe but with out the name for it. Stuck in the space between. So you should probably close that gap dad. Before something bad happens." I say.
I pause and then continue "So do you need help dad? I mean how exactly do you close a mind gap?"
"It's a tricky thing,a mind gap.Its hard to explain." -11
"Alright what happened for you to fall into it? Wait never mind I know" I ask but then realized it was because of our telpathic transfer.
"It's just with you and Ashley so....if you sent ten,he would get stuck in it.Mind gaps are odd things." Eleven describes
"Yeah. Do you think it's the effect of whatever Rani did in our minds?" I ask.
"Maybe not sure" he replies.
After that I waited and checked up every few seconds. Spending time chatting with Ashley. As I was eleven interupted with some vital information.
"Sooo um something happened with the mind gap that isn't exactly good I would say...." the Doctor says.
"What happened?" I ask
"Something entered through it....Not sure what it is or what it wants." He explains
"How can something enter through it?" I ask curious.
"Loooong story on how something enters through it but it should be in both of your minds.Its confusing. Hear any other people telepathically?" Eleven replies.
I listen but I don't hear anything. "Well.. no. What do you think it is?"
Ashley answers "I hear some kind of echo which is weird..."
I think about what the Doctor said. My mind running through the possibilities of what could be in our minds."Hmm I don't like not knowing what it is or what it's there for"
"Do you hear an echo?" Ashley asks
"What kind of echo exactly?"
"Like an echo of what everyone is saying telepathically like if I say something in a cave it would echo" Ashley explains
confused I try it out by saying something to ten first figuring out what to say. I say "hi ten. You there?"
He answers, and it comes put in an echo at the end of his voice just like Ashley described. I was amazed telpathic echo who could of thought of it.
"Oh gosh you're right. I hear it. Is that cause of 11 stuck between the minds. And the whatever it is in here too. In the mind gap?" I ask quoting what The Doctor had called it.
Suddenly Ashley interjects "It's not my voice....I know my voice it's....wait.Its.Changing.And.Messing with.My.voice."
"Ooh that doesn't sound good. Is it changing your telpathic voice or your actual voice?"
"My telepathic voice as far as i know of...oh great I have a country accent again." She answered
"Are you really sleepy too?Because I'm really really sleepy....
Ok....well now I'm not, and that is really weird....Its been giggle.The thing.WHY IS IT GIGGLING?!" She contined
"It's gigling how can you tell?" I ask confused.
"I hear it gigling"
"Hmm obviously it likes messing with us" I say
