35: D-Day 2

Chaeyeon's POV:

We finally had the time to rest today and get our hairs done. We are now on our way to get our hair done, early in the morning so we could catch Somi as she gets ready for her comeback, everyone in the team knew who Somi was, she was always the kind one, she reaches out to my team members, asking for their progress and what not, Somi was worried that I won't get to debut with them, but I am glad that I will be debuting with my talented members. Somi was the friendly type she was always cheery and bright. She always smiled at Twice Sunbaenim, which made the Unnies happy, because she was their baby as much as I am and Chaeryeong is Twice's baby. We were known at JYP for being Twice's Babies. Because the unnies were always there to cheer on us happily, whatever we decided to do, we have their support. They in fact reached out to me, when they learned that WM Entertainment was debuting a girl group this year and the teaser photos were released, the teaser photos were sillhouette shots of our backs, looking back at the camera. The shots were dramatic and it made a wave from the industry, some fans even calling our upcoming debut as the most awaited debut of the decade. Some wishes to have me as center of our group, some are speculating on who were to debut and they managed to somehow find out the final line up.

The fans were good at this type of guessing, but one thing they were wrong about was Gaeun being in the line up, she's having a blast these days, no one have guessed yet that the three Japanese women were with us and are about to debut with us. All of them were guessing the popular members such as Yena, Eunbi Unnie and another Chinese trainee Xiaoting. Xiaoting was a kind and could totally give my team a run for their money, have they been on a sing and dance show down. My team will for sure have a hard time trying to win the sing and dance off, my team are a talented bunch, aside from singing and dancing, they all know how to play instruments. Three of them even writes songs and composes melodies. They're just great members. Kura-chan was sitting with me in my van, the back was occupied by Nako, Tomi, Minju, Kwangbae and Ducky. Our kids are having fun, Eunbi Unnie stayed with the rest of Team IZ*ONME. I looked up my kids through the rear view mirror and smiled softly at them. Yena making faces at Tomi to make her laugh, the kid was seriously unamused with Yena's antics. Looking at how annoyed Tomi was with Yena, I couldn't help but giggle at Yena. Kura-chan looked up at the silly things Yena was doing to Tomi and a soft smile was etched on her lips.

"Tomi is hard to get close to, if she doesn't initially warmed up to you, it would take time for her to actually laugh at your jokes. But to me, she instantly called me Okan. A feat according to other members. Nako was my original baby in the group, I initiated calling Nako as my child. Nako at first called me Oneechan." She replied as she takes a look at our kids.

"Oh, maybe it's because Ducky is really affectionate, she tends to just show her true self and it's up to you as a recipient of all her quirky sides to like her too, Yena is unapologetic about her quirks, she would befriend anyone." I replied to her.

"Hi-chan is starting to warm up to Ducky, let's give them a bit more time. Hi-chan likes Minju and Kwangbae, Yuri and Chaewon are also close to my Hi-chan too, it'll only take a matter of time." She replied to me.

"I want you to meet my friends from the industry, I hope you don't mind." I replied to her and turned back to her.

"I don't mind." She replied smiling.

"Great, we're going to meet them for lunch." I replied to her.

"Okay, lunch with your friends and our kids sounds nice." She replied.

"I can't wait." I replied.

"Thank you." She replied and held my hand.

"What for, Kura-chan?" I asked her.
