12: Dinner with our kids

Chaeyeon's POV:

We are currently preparing dinner the 3Wons have helped us to prepare the ingredients with our guidance. The 3Wons have picked up the new skills of chopping some vegetables. Sakura and I have finished chopping up the meats to be used in our dishes, I decided to cook Maeuntang, a spicy fish stew, Sakura meanwhile cooked a Japanese dish called Nikujaga. I don't know what that is, but she prepared some potatoes too. She then cooks the Shirataki Rice, good for 10 hungry people times 3, because most of my kids love to eat. Wonyoung usually has classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Evenings only. It was a good thing, because we'll have my seonnyo with us. Wonyoung is a good kid, Yujin's Baby is always ready to help anyone in need, she's an exceptionally talented and a visual, I'm glad Wonyoung made our team. Our little family of six, including Nako and Hitomi is getting along fine.

I noticed that the two of Sakura's kids are so tired today. They pulled Sakura into their room for about a minute, I assume to tell her about how tired they were. I pity the kids, to be honest, but the whole of Team IZ*ONME had to perfect the new choreo if they even wanted to keep their spot until we get the final two members, we can't relax. I wish they'd understand the gravity of our situation at the company. Besides we were not sure who gets to debut and who doesn't, this line up could still be changed. Either the additional two members or replacements for each members. So we have to step up our movements, be more appealing, precise and ready for our debut. My kids and Sakura's kids practiced and trained hard for 15 years in total, I don't want them to waste away their training periods and not debut with us.

I also knew a little bit more now about my crush, my HKT48, AKB48 and KIV Bias. Perhaps a little more than any of the associated press knew about her. Today may have been the greatest day I ever spent. August 21st of 2018, Thursday. The first time I knew that my bias fell in love with one of her co-members. I don't know, but today seemed to be the most special of all days, because she trusted me with a secret. I should be feeling jealous right now, but with Sakura all my initial resolves just goes away, especially because despite all the pain her former member caused her, she's here in Korea trying to better herself in terms of performing. She has a warm personality and cares for everyone around her.

If I had the biggest crush on her previously, my admiration has grown triple this day. Because today, she was able to tell me half of her story, I was able to reassure her that no matter what her past was, I will support her. I will be there no matter what happens and we will debut together. I promised myself ever since, that my team will debut, I will never let them down. It just so happened that Sakura, my AKB48 Bias was part of my Team. This is all this is, she's just part of my Kingdom, I am King of Team IZ*ONME and she's my Queen. Yah! Chaen! Stop thinking of Sakura as your Queen! The girl is broken still! My mind berated me as soon as I thought of it. I breathed out a sigh and I was quickly brought out of reverie when Sakura spoke to me.

"Do you have something on your mind? Tell me. You can trust me." She says to me.

"It's nothing really. I was just thinking about the team. Being gone for 3 days is something they haven't experienced as of yet, we just practiced all these years with out fail." I replied to her.

I went on to serve the fish stew I made, not giving an opportunity for Sakura to see through me. I already showed her my phone's wallpaper of her that's embarrassing enough, I don't need to show her through my whole zoo of emomtions whenever she is near proximitiy of me. Yeah, I like her so much, that I am malfunctioning whenever she's near me. First instance was at the supermarket after work, I'm not planning on doing that again. She acted cool about it, I don't know what's going on in her pretty little head, maybe she's used to fans having a crush on her or she's used to affections towards her by her former members.
