53: Shibuya Trip

Sakura's POV:

We made our way to Shibuya, Nako's hometown after spending the same amount of time at Tomi's Hometown. After this, we'll be spending time with our families for Christmas, everyone with the exemption of Chaewon's Family will come in Japan and spend time with us at Nako's House. Nako had a wide and duplex type of house. We've just arrived at Shibuya Station, Nako's Parents were waiting for us as it was only two hours away from Tochigi, we were back at the capital of Japan, Tokyo Prefecture where we started the trip several days ago. We used to stay at Park Hotel in the Akihabara district of Tokyo, the Akihabara had big neon lights at night, it was almost like New York's Time Square. Only a little on the smaller side. Regardless, it was a buzzing city. Known for its Electronics shops littered around the district, it also has some of the quirkiest shops, like the Monster Takoyaki, Minju and Kwangbae found. It was actually a Haven for Manga and Animé lovers too, I'll make sure to take Kwangbae again on one of our trips back to Akihabara. We will be going back to the district before we fly out of Japan and go back to Korea.

Imagining the next few days we have, was just giving me severe anxiety attacks. The majority of the rest of our days will be spent attending other award and year end gatherings. SBS Gayo Daejeon was the last of the year end shows, followed by our break. We need a break from the busy schedules we've endured ever since finding out that we were nominated for Mnet Asian Music Awards. We prepared several back-to-back performances for MAMA '18 and I can not begin to describe how I am feeling now that everything's been delivered to our audiences. I was exhausted beyond belief. I was quiet the whole time we toured around Tochigi and Kagoshima as I was just exhausted with social interactions. I just wanted to hole myself up inside the house and play my games. I didn't want to come out, especially if these kids won't stop being the chaotic mess they all are, last night they've been teasing Chaeyeon and I for kissing, when I can bet that they didn't capture on video or photo of the kiss Chaeyeon and I shared. Our kids have gathered around the statue of Hachikō, each one took turns taking photos of each other, mostly Kang-chan was the one taking photos of every member. She took especially long while shooting Minju. Minju just indulged her and posed beside Hachikō. Ten minutes have passed before Kang-chan calls me to pose with Chaeyeon.

Nako's parents watched the Korean Team Members as they posed for Photos with Hachikō, by the time I was called for the photo, Nako's parents smiled at me and nodded in understanding. Chaeyeon and I posed with Hachikō, Kang-chan directed us to look at Hachikō and after about ten minutes of her furiously directing us and asking us to pose and smile, she was done finally. We must've spent around an hour or so just posing and her taking photos meticulously directing everyone. She was so happy that she jumped around happily.

"Eomma! Even my phone's camera love you. Look." She told me as she showed me my photos right after we got into Nako's family van.

"You take great photos, my Kang-chan, that's the only reason why those photos turned out great. Now, buckle up, Kang-chan." I replied to her and gave her a gentle smile.

I sat beside Chaeyeon who was already dedt by the time the van moved, her head was placed in my shoulder and my right arm and hand supported her head so she won't fall forward. The rest of our kids were well behaved through out the Japanese Tours we've done. Everyone thanked the parents for accommodating us and giving us a place to stay. Which were met with forehead kisses from our parents and telling the team that they are as good as their daughter and a family sticks together, for them to always feel welcome in Japan. All twelve were treated as if they were part of our families. Like a one big and happy families. We'll spend Christmas at Akihabara, Tokyo. Gathering all of our families together for our first holiday of hopefully many more years of holiday. Chaewon initially decided against coming to the short trip we'll have to our hometowns, Chaeyeon offered her family to come with us, a nurse and doctor will be on standby at one of her Father's partners' hospitals in Japan, it would only be for a day, but of course Chaewon's mother and father declined the offer kindly.
