Reader pov.

Without even answering , your vision grew blurry and an all too familiar darkness dragged you down.

"-ou're not even listening. Princess?"

"Ah S-sunghoon? Sorry , I was daydreaming." You answered and felt sudden aches in your head.

You were in a room with Sunghoon and it seemed like you were standing while talking to him.

"You've been so absent in the last days. Now that your mother returned you should be happy. Seriously, you really are hard to please." He said scoffing at you and you laughed it off.

"I can't wait for the carnival. I've been so excited and now that my mother is back it's time to make preparations." You said and Sunghoon nodded smiling at you. "But, may I ask , what are you doing here ? Weren't you supposed to leave ?" You asked.

Sunghoon ruffled your hair before leading you to a chair. He was wearing something simple today so you assumed that he visited you for fun.

"We did leave last night but I couldn't bear to leave this beautiful mansion." He said and you looked at him. His expression told you that it wasn't the real reason.

"Come on and tell me the truth." You said forcing him to answer.

"Princess, you're no fun. We left yesterday but I'm not ready to leave my treasure here. We also got invited to a cup of tea by your mother." He said and then picked up a brush to brush your hair.

"I see. Where are the others?"

"Our parents are having tea as planned but the others seem to have wandered off. I'm the only one that has been looking for you , princess." He told you and placed the brush down again.

He then took something out of his pocket and it seemed like a jewellery box.

"I even bought you a gift. It would make me happy if you could wear this tomorrow." He said placing down the box. You looked at it and picked it up. Opening it you saw the little details on the necklace.

"I will look if I get a chance to wear it." You said and you saw his face brighten up. "Let's go now. I want to look for the others."

"Alright." He answered but you stopped remembering something.

Sunghoon was giving you a questioning look and you turned to face him.

"How do you feel ?" You asked him directly and he let his head down to the side in a confused manner. "Come on. Answer." You said inpatient.

"I think okay? Why are you asking?" He asked and put his arm around your shoulder.

"Just making sure. Don't cause me any problems, alright?" You said and he nodded ruffling your hair.

"Ah right , we made a deal. I almost forgot about it. You're so thoughtful , almost cute. I won't do any problems..at least for now."
