Chapter 12: Fight!

As Jungkook wakes up, he feels the fluff of a tail tickling his face. When he opens his eyes, he sees his mate curled up in his arms with his white tail happily fluffed. Jungkook happily pulls his mate close to him and buries his face in his mate's hair.

Taehyung's ears twitch when he feels his mate bury his face in his hair. This causes Taehyung to wake up. When he opens his eyes, he realizes that he is safely tucked away in Jungkook's arms.

"Koo." Taehyung lovingly mumbles and kisses Jungkook's neck.

"Morning, Pup." Jungkook sweetly answers and kisses both of Taehyung's ears.

Taehyung carefully uncurls and stretches while staying in Jungkook's arms. As he stretches, a sharp pain strikes his back and a surprised yelp leaves Taehyung's lips. Taehyung's yelp sends Jungkook into action, and he very quickly grabs the painkiller and water he had placed on the nightstand.

"Here, this will help." Jungkook gently tells Taehyung and helps him sit up.

"Thanks, Kook." Taehyung blushes and takes the painkiller and water.

Once Taehyung has taken the medicine, Jungkook gently pulls Taehyung onto his chest and begins to soothingly rub his back. As Taehyung lies on Jungkook's chest, he looks at the gruesome scars and begins kissing them.

"The world has caused you so much pain." Taehyung quietly cries.

"It's ok. It can hit me to ground as many times as it wants to, but I will always stand back up again." Jungkook softly tells Taehyung with determination in his eyes.

"I will always be there with you to help you stand up. You do not have to face the world alone anymore." Taehyung softly smiles and kisses Jungkook.

"Ever since we met, you have always been by my side. I know this now." Jungkook whispers and wraps his arms around Taehyung.

Loving his mate's scent, Taehyung scoots up Jungkook's chest then snuggles his face in the crook of Jungkook's neck. As they cuddle, there is a knock at the door.

"I'm definitely going to have to get used to your family always being around." Jungkook chuckles when he recognizes Jin's scent.

"They are rather nosy." Taehyung giggles as Jungkook stands up with taehyung in his arms.

When Jungkook opens the door, he smiles softly at Jin and Jimin standing there. Jimin's gentle scent is always buried in the other family member's scents.

"We were wondering if Taehyung was coming to work today. Seeing as he's still in just your t-shirt, I'm going to guess that he's staying home." Jin happily smiles as he looks at his beyond happy brother. Finally, Taehyung is happy again.

"I took the one week new mate break." Taehyung tells Jin while trying to hide the hickeys on his thighs.

"Oh good! And, Tae. You don't need to hide anything. We can smell it all." Jimin snickers then Jungkook slams the door in their faces.

"Rude." Jimin mutters when the door slams in their faces.

"Let's go." Jin giggles and drags an angry Jimin away.

Jungkook carries his laughing mate to their room.

"I can only imagine Jimin hyung's face." Taehyung laughs and laughs.

Jungkook gets lost in Taehyung's laugh as he watches Taehyung's eyes sparkle.

"What did I do to deserve you?" Jungkook whispers in awe as he looks at his angelic mate.

When Taehyung hears this, he blushes and hides his face in Jungkook's chest and whines in embarrassment. The rest of their day goes by as they cuddle and bond.
