The rest of the spring semester goes by as Taehyung becomes the only light in Jungkook's hell.

"Will we still be able to meet up over the summer?" Taehyung asks as they have their last lunch of the semester together.

"Definitely. I usually prefer to spend my days away from the orphanage." Jungkook smiles as he looks at the beautiful fox.

"We can go swimming! I know this amazing lake that hardly anyone ever goes to. I can pick you up from the orphanage." Taehyung explains while imagining their fun summer.

"Uh yeah. Sure." Jungkook answers with a small smile.

The rest of their last day of the semester goes by quickly as the two dream about their summer plans.

"So, what plans do you have for the summer?" Jimin asks Taehyung as they sit in their last class.

"I have some fun things planned. What do you want to do together during the summer?" Taehyung asks Jimin while still hiding Jungkook from the world.

Taehyung is afraid that if people find out that he and Jungkook are friends, they will react negatively and end up hurting Jungkook.

When the final bell rings, the students run around and scream in joy. They are now moving on to high school. The chatter of students planning their summer parties fills the school as they all leave in a herd. Taehyung watches as Jungkook slips past all of the students and leaves.

"How was your last day of eighth grade?" Jin asks Taehyung as they drive home.

"It was good. How were your classes?" Taehyung asks his hyung as he looks out of the window and sees Jungkook.

When their eyes meet, Taehyung feels his cheeks turn red and his heart flutter.

"They were good. It is nice that they are finally over." Jin answers as he curiously watches his brother.

"That's nice." Taehyung says as he loses sight of Jungkook.

Jin looks at his blushing brother and begins to wonder who makes his brother this flustered.

"Do you have any plans for the summer?" Jin asks trying to find out if Taehyung will be hanging out with the person who makes him blush.

"Uh yeah. I'll be spending time with my friends. Is it ok if I have some money for taxis?" Taehyung asks his hyung.

"Sure! I got a pay raise, and I will be able to work more over the summer. Go have fun before you have to become an adult." Jin smiles as he watches his brother's ears twitch happily.

"Thank you, Hyung!" Taehyung squeals as he bounces in his seat.

For the rest of the evening, Jin watches his little brother run around in excitement as he prepares things for tomorrow. During the night, Jin hears his brother muttering in his room as he makes sure he has everything ready for his fun day.

"So, who are you spending time with tomorrow?" Jin asks when he walks into his brother's room.

"Uh a friend." Taehyung answers as he zips up the bag he prepared.

Jin begins to become concerned because Taehyung has never hidden anything from him. This is the first time Taehyung has avoided directly answering one of his questions. So he walks off and calls their cousin for some advice.

"Hoseok, I have a question." Jin says when their cousin answers the phone.

"Ok, what is it?" Hoseok asks when he hears Jin's concerned voice.

"It's about Tae. Recently, I noticed that he's been hiding something from me. I don't know why though." Jin sighs as he sits on his bed.

"Seokjin, you are over thinking things! He's a teenager! You are basically his parent. Teenagers hide things from their parents. If he seems ok, then don't worry about him." Hoseok advises Jin.
