Chapter 29: New Life

As the winter fast approaches, Taehyung and Jimin go to another one of Jimin's OB-GYN appointments. During the drive, Taehyung notices Jimin is uncomfortable and keeps shifting into different positions.

"Hyung, are you ok?" Taehyung asks with worry.

"The babies are in a weird position." Jimin mumbles and tries a new position.

"Are they ok?" Taehyung asks as his worry grows.

"They're ok. I just want to be with Yoons." Jimin smiles.

"Ok. Hopefully, the appointment goes by quickly." Taehyung smiles and continues driving.

"TAE! My water just broke! Take me back to the compound! I want Yoons!!!" Jimin screams suddenly as tears stream down his face.

Taehyung quickly turns the car around and speeds back to the compound. 

"Breathe in. Breathe out. We will be with Yoongi soon." Taehyung tells Jimin in the calmest voice he can muster.

When they pull up to the gate, the guards recognize the car and let them go through without stopping them. Taehyung sighs in relief as he drives through then speeds towards the now panicking Yoongi.

"Where are they?!" Yoongi panics as he paces back and forth.

After receiving Taehyung's panicked phone call, Yoongi and Jungkook are both stressed. Taehyung's scared voice triggered Jungkook's protective instincts while Yoongi hearing that his mate is in labor sent him over the edge.

Hyungsik and Jin close the clinic the second they received the phone call and race towards the apartment building. As they arrive at the apartment, Taehyung comes screeching into their parking lot.

"This is when your insane driving came in handy." Jimin softly giggles as Taehyung screeches the car into a parking spot.

"I'm an excellent driver!" Taehyung retorts and gets dragged out of the car by his worried mate.

Yoongi quickly carries Jimin to the birthing nest he prepared. Hoseok, Hyungsik, and Jin run after him while trying to check on Jimin and the babies.

As the others all rush to take care of Jimin and the babies, Taehyung patiently stays in Jungkook's arms and lets Jungkook check and make sure he is ok. Once Jungkook is sure that Taehyung is ok, he calms down and snaps out of his protective trance.

When Jungkook carries Taehyung to Yoongi and Jimin's apartment, they see Namjoon standing guard at the door. Now that the entire family is together, Namjoon follows Jungkook and Taehyung inside of the apartment and locks the door then butts a chair up against the door.

Once Jungkook sets him down, Taehyung joins the others in Jimin's room. Jungkook and Namjoon protectively stand at Jimin and Yoongi's bedroom door as chaos ensues in the room.

"Yoongi, you can trust Jimin and the babies with us. We have been studying and preparing for this day. He's 13 days early, but he and the babies will be ok. Don't worry about the size of the cub affecting Jimin. Cubs are born small." Jin softly explains to Yoongi as Hyungsik and Hoseok prep Jimin, and Taehyung prepares all of the supplies.

Soon, the entire apartment is filled with Jimin's screams and the doctors' shouts of instructions.

"Jimin, push!" Jin yells as another contraction rips through the small bunny's body.

Jimin screams and holds onto Yoongi as he pushes with all of his strength. Hoseok and Taehyung continue to observe his vitals to make sure he is stable while Jin and Hyungsik work on delivering the babies.

Yoongi whispers sweet, encouraging words to Jimin as Jimin pants and looks into Yoongi's loving eyes. "You've got this, Mini. You are so amazing."

"I see bunny ears and a head!" Jin yells out as Jimin pushes again.
