Chapter 47: Finally Home

"Dear citizens of Alia, today we would like to announce that Rehousing Act 2026 has been passed. All carnivores and their families are welcome to move outside of Banes Borough. As a reminder, carnivores and dangerous carnivores are required to wear their government issued muzzles when outside of the fence if they are over the age of three."

The entire family watches the news in Jin and Namjoon's apartment. They want to celebrate, but they do not want their move to seem strange for their young children. They do not want to make living in the fence seem like a bad thing because they want their children's lives to be filled with happiness.

"Papa, what does that mean?" Aemin asks because she was too young to remember much of her life before living with Jimin and Yoongi.

"Well, we are moving to bigger apartments." Jimin smiles and hugs his eight year old daughter.

"Oohhhh is it because we're growing?" Aemin asks as she looks at her parents.

"Exactly. And Appa and I want to have more babies. So, we need a bigger home." Jimin explains with a big smile.

"More babies?" Minhwa asks with big eyes as she looks at her younger brothers.

"Just a few more." Jimin smiles and pats her head.

"Plus, Minah and Samuel want to live near us as well, and when we move to the new apartment, they will be able to find one next to us." Jimin explains as he looks at his daughter and her mate.

"Maybe Bimin unni can find a mate." Minhye giggles as her older sister glares at her.

As Taehyung and Jungkook pack up their tiny apartment that holds many conflicting memories, their sons try to imagine what their new home will be like. Taehyung looks at the two as they hold hands and look outside of the balcony door.

"You will love your new home. I promise. It's where Appa and I lived before we moved here." Taehyung promises and hugs his sons.

"Is it pretty?" Yeonjun asks and looks at his father.

"Your Eomma decorated it, so it is gorgeous. Plus, you'll have your own room." Jungkook smiles and picks both of his sons up.

"Share wif Junnie." Jin whines and hugs Yeonjun.

"Of course you two will share a room." Jungkook chuckles and kisses both of their cheeks.

During the drive to the home they have been dreaming of returning to, Taehyung fiddles with the tiny muzzle in his hand. He doesn't want Yeonjun to have to wear one, but he has to. Jungkook and Taehyung had already discussed that all four of them would wear muzzles so that Yeonjun doesn't feel any different.

As they drive through the city, Yeonjun and Hyunjin gasp as they look outside of their window. Their new home is in a very different part of the city. It is filled with glass buildings that seem to reach the clouds. When they arrive at their apartment complex, the two boys stare at it in shock. It is much taller than their previous home.

"Ok, do you remember Eomma explaining this to you?" Taehyung asks as he holds the muzzle in his hand.

Both boys nod and take their muzzles. Yeonjun smiles when he sees that Hyunjin's is white and his is black while his Appa's is black and his Eomma's is white.

"Appa and Junnie same!" Yeonjun smiles and looks at Jungkook.

"Eomma Jinnie same!" Hyunjin squeals and fumbles as he tries to put his muzzle on.

Their parents sigh in relief when they see their smiles. Jungkook gently squeezes Taehyung's hand as they prepare to face the world they were stripped from.
