Chapter 37: The Interview

"Pup, how are you feeling today?" Jungkook asks as he bathes his pregnant mate.

"Like a beluga." Taehyung chuckles and gently rubs his large tummy.

"Well, you look beautiful." Jungkook compliments his 29 weeks pregnant mate.

"Thank you." Taehyung grins and kisses Jungkook.

"No need to thank me when it's the truth." Jungkook chuckles and lifts Taehyung out of the tub.

"No wonder why I fell for you. You are such a sweet talker." Taehyung coos as he looks into his mate's loving eyes.

"The entire city is going to fall in love with you today." Jungkook smiles and kisses Taehyung's waiting lips.

"I am nervous about the interview." Taehyung mumbles as Jungkook dries his hair.

"Don't be, Pup. You will be amazing." Jungkook responds and lovingly ruffles Taehyung's ears.

"You don't seem nervous." 

"I am very nervous, but I don't want to stress you."

"My sweet Alpha." Taehyung smiles and wraps his arms around Jungkook's abdomen.

Once they are fully dry, Jungkook carries Taehyung to their room and sets him down on the bed. As Jungkook rustles through the closet looking for clothes for them, Taehyung waddles over and begins to play with Jungkook's fluffy tail.

"Pup, you shouldn't be walking around." Jungkook chuckles when he feels Taehyung playing with his tail.

"I want to play with your tail." Taehyung pouts and looks up at Jungkook.

"I won't stop you." Jungkook smiles and loving caresses Taehyung's face.

"Your tail is just so soft and fluffy." Taehyung grins as he looks up at Jungkook.

"That's because you take such good care of me." Jungkook smiles and picks Taehyung up and carries him to the bed.

"Are you two almost ready? Seojoon has arrived to bring us to the news station." Jin asks as he walks into their apartment.

"We're almost ready." Jungkook answers as he finishes dressing Taehyung.

"You two look great." Jin smiles when Jungkook carries Taehyung out of their room.

"Hyung, are you going to be there?" Taehyung asks as Jungkook carries him to the SUV waiting for them.

"I will. Hoseok and I will be with you." Jin smiles and gently brushes a strand of hair out of Taehyung's face.

"I'm guessing that the others will be watching the tv." Jungkook comments as Seojoon opens the door for them.

"They will." Jin answers and helps Jungkook set the very pregnant Arctic fox in the SUV.

"So, you'll only have to wear your muzzle. It won't be like how Namjoon and Yoongi were treated when they went into the city to visit the hospital." Seojoon explains once he starts the vehicle.

"Oh good. That would have stressed Taehyung." Jin answers in relief.

The drive to the station is uneventful because Seojoon made sure to use an unmarked vehicle. However, they notice that everyone is still wearing muzzles. They also notice that Seojoon has a muzzle sitting on the center console next to him. There are several signs posted all over the city in protest of the fence.

When they arrive at the station, there are several hybrids silently protesting with their muzzles on. Their signs all support carnivores and the pain they have been through.
