-Venus POV-

The team was up on the platform as Temp comes up to us with Dr. Stires. "Pull up the frontal and lateral view of the victim's lower fibulas." I was standing next in front of Booth as he stands next to Dr. Stires. Booth then speaks up to him, "You trained her well, Doc." "She's brilliant. A little cocky, though." "Ha, tell me about it. Nothing like her sister." I pip in "Of course not Ranger, then I wouldn't be able to be the berry squint of yours that could get things done for you in a jiffy and do your paperwork for free." "Yup, you are right about that. But they both are pretty good partners, though. What you see is what you get. They have a rare quality. That's between just us, eh?" I give Booth a thumbs up as Temp speaks up. "Michael?" Zack then continues, "Dr. Brennan found marks on the medial malleoli, both left and right." Temp continues "Her legs were bound." Zack then speaks again, "Mirror erosion patterns from the bones rubbing together over time." Booth then speaks up, "If this were the result of sex games, the legs- they wouldn't be bound together. Well, come on, you know? Looking for a little nookie? Hah! Last thing you'd tie together are the legs." Dr. Stires then speaks up "I'm not convinced. Brittle bones from her thyroid condition. The damage could have happened in a very short time." Temp speaks as I looked at Dr. Stires a bit not knowing what to think about him. "We also found evidence of inflammation on her right humerus and ilium." I added from behind him, "The bone abnormalities indicate pathosis from lying in one position for a long time. The only reasonable explanation is long-term bondage." Dr. Stires continues, "Decrease bone-density could have caused the inflammation. This isn't definitive." He then looks at Temp. "I hear there's a nice little French place near here I'd like to try." "I still have five minutes."

We are now in Angie's workplace looking at the Angelator as Dr. Stires speaks. "My department's still working with Polaroids." Temp then asks him, "So, what do you think?" "Very impressive. Especially to the nonprofessional." Angie then speaks up, "You want science? Give me the estimated time of captivity." Temp then answers, "Approximately three weeks." "Okay, here are your affected areas. Now, during an advance time simulation... " Dr. Stires looks at Temp, "Can I see your findings? This appears to be indisputable." "The narcotic found in her system was not the result of recreational drug abuse." Angie speaks, "The inflammation would have been very painful, and the pain would have increased over time." I then added "They kept upping the dose of hydromorphone until they gave her too much, and she died. Those people bound and killed her." Dr. Stire's sighs "I yield. French restaurant?" Temp then answers, "I'm more in the mood for Italian. I need to put together the evidence packet for Booth to deliver to the U.S. attorney." "I'll meet you at your place." I quickly intervened in "No, Temp I will do it. You go back home with him. I am going to stay here for a while anyway, as I have paperwork to finish and hand it in to Boss." "Okay, thank you." "No, problem sis."

I am sitting in the lounge with Angie as she asks me, "Do you think he could handle Brennan's success?" I shrug, "I am not too sure Angie, as far I could see is that they have always been competitive." "I know, but he's a man, and his student, a woman, had surpassed him." "That is true Angie. He didn't look all too happy about today." She nods as I continue, "I don't know what to think of him Angie, he is always trying to contradict our evidence." "Well, I mean that is normal for a teacher to get their students to think more outside the box." "Yeah, your right. Maybe I am looking into it to much. But I get a feeling he isn't here just for Temp, Angie." We watch as Temp comes over to us and sits down. "Hey sis, what are you doing here?" "Booth said that he had something important to tell us." I nod as Booth comes over to us, "Judge is holding them without bail. The U.S. attorney is thinking about sending you both flowers." Temp then says, "Facts are facts."

I nod as I pick up my glass of water as Booth continues. "Uh... Bones, I have to ask. How much have you been sharing with the professor?" "None of your business." "I mean, on the case." I then pipe in "He shouldn't know that much about it, right Temp?" "No. I bounce everything off of him. Why?" I looked at her with wide eyes as Booth speaks, "Well, you got to keep him out of it from now on." "Out of it? Why?" I look at Booth with a smile, "Well, you know that appointment that he had today?" "Yeah." "He met with the Costello's lawyer. Michael is their expert witness. It's his job to tear apart the case that you've built." I am still smiling as I look at Angie, "Oh my Angie, it seems my assumptions are right." "Yeah, sweetie but are you all right." "Yes, I am fine. Just a bit annoyed that he would do that to my sister, nothing else." As I said that, the glass on my hand broke from the amount of pressure I put on it. Now my hand was bleeding as Angie gasped, "Sweetie, you don't seem okay. Your hand is bleeding."
