Hay Angel - One Direction"Everyday's gonna be a little bit better" - UNKNOWN
~
The next day, he woke up a little bit better. I had to go to work today so I had to leave him. Management called for a meeting and I had to be there as Louis' representative. Louis was still fast asleep when I had to leave. So I left him a note at the bedside table. Saying that I love him and there's breakfast in the fridge and to just call Liam (not Niall) to heat it up for him. I also asked for Liam to call me immediately if anything happens. After that I left, with a little bit of peace in my mind but my body's aching to be there beside him and make sure that he was always safe. I needed assurance that he would be fine. That he was still... there. Still with me.
I arrived at the office and went to Damian's office.
I was tired from the sleepless night. I had eyebags all around my eye. I was worried as hell. My head hurts. My mind hurts. My heart hurts. Everything hurts. I looked like a Zombie, most probably, from the looks that the people gave me when I walked those hallways, but I couldn't care less.
The meeting was horrible. Absolutely horrible.
*Flashback*
Harry walked in the room and inside was four men, three unknown to him and Damian. The first one was wearing a dark blue suit while looking out the window with a shot glass filled with scotch on his hands. The second one had glasses and a laptop in his hands. The third one seemed like the assistant of the first guy. He mentally groaned and sighed as he slowly took a step forward.
"Harry" Damian nodded to the seat available at the sofa. He smiled politely as he sat and took a notebook out. "This is Louis' personal assistant".
"We are aware," the first man said. Damian cleared his throat before continuing. "Uhm, I'm pretty sure that the two of you are confused as to who our guests are" Harry looked at all of them with clear confusion. "This is Timothee, our representative from statistics. That is uhmm"
"Fischer. My name's Fischer" Irish accent was the first thing Mila noticed. "I am here because we need to talk about Louis. We became aware that Louis hasn't been giving us the satisfactory amount of money and fame we agreed upon so we came to a conclusion that we are gonna cut his budget down by a few zero's" Harry blinked at him trying to just take in what he said. After a few very awkward and slow seconds, Harry said slowly, "You're... gonna... cut... Louis' budget? What?".
"Yes, in case you have some earwax in your ear, you heard me right" He calmly said which frustrated Harry more. He shook his head side to side slowly as if he needed more time to absorb the fact that there's a possibility that they'll lose the hotel and his income will go down too.
"He's sick and you expect him to work! He has been working his arse off! Writing and recording songs! With headaches, for god sakes! And now you want to cut his budget! What happened to your heart?! Has it been too cruel to you for you to do that to someone who's actually suffering enough already?!" Harry said, voice slightly wavering and cracking, going loud with each syllable.
"Sick people aren't in our care anymore. Celebrities are but sick celebrities aren't. If you don't comply with what was written in the contract, consequences happen. The world is cruel now, young man. The world's only for the brave."
