Dream leaned on the counter, listening to the silence of the remains of a terrible argument. Sapnap's eyes glued to the floor, his fists clenched , and knuckles white.

Dream looked down at his own hands, he noticed the blood seeping from his knuckles. His eyes then followed to the hole in the wall.

It was as if Dream had just regained his consciousness, "Oh." He whispered, "Sap.. I-" he took a step in Sapnaps direction.

Sapnap pushed a hand out in front of himself, "stay where you are Dream , please." Sapnap took a step back. "You're scaring me."

Dream froze eyebrows knitting together. "W..what? Sapnap.." he paused, "you know I would never hurt you.." another pause, "right?"
Dream brought his bloodied hand up to pull through his hair.

"What if I was standing there instead of that wall?.." Sapnap cried. His hands started to shake.

"Sapnap. I promise you, I would never put an unloving hand on you, ever." Dream shakily spoke. "I swear I would never do anything to hurt you."

Sapnap sighed and fell onto the couch, "I-I know.. I don't know what I'm saying- I'm sorry." He began to cry now, letting his face fall into his hand. "Dream I'm sorry I'm sorry-"

"Sapnap stop, don't be sorry I should be apologizing, I love you more than anything and I swear I would never hurt you. I'm sorry for scaring you I don't know what came across me I'll fix the wall.." Dream say on the couch across the room from sapnap, not wanting to push his boundaries right now.

Dream knew that sapnap had dealt with abuse in the past and did his best not to ever be violent in any way with sapnap, and he did a good job too. (Until now).

Dream listened to sapnap hiccups and sniffles , sapnap slowly nodded his head and stood up. He walked over to Dream and sat next to him. Dream turned and looked over at the other, he watched as sapnap slowly fell into his arms.

Sapnaps tight grip around dreams shoulders and neck put a mix of moths and butterflies in his stomach. Dream slowly brought his arms around the younger boy, "you're okay-"
"I know you would never hurt me." Sapnap spoke. Dream nodded at that and leaned down to kiss his forehead.

Dream rubbed sapnaps back and stroked his hair until his staggered breathe, hiccups, and sniffles came to a stop. And he heard the noise of small peaceful snores.

Dream brought sapnap to their bed and placed him down, grabbed his phone, a pillow and a blanket, and walked out to the couch he had just been sitting on for the last 30 minutes. He placed the things he grabbed on the couch and walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of water.

He brought the water to his lips, spilling some on the floor, given his hands are severely shaking. He leaned over the countertop looking back at the oven clock. 1:30 am. Their fight had gone on for about 2 hours before Dream punched the wall. He was so tired he couldn't even remember what they were fighting about, but he does know the subject changed multiple times before sapnap said something that made him snap.

"Oh get over it Sapnap! All you do is complain I'm not your mother who's gonna sit here and listen to you cry about everything!"

"You wouldn't even know what having a mother is like!! So don't ever compare yourself to a mother when yours wasn't even around-"

Dream stood back up and walked over to the couch, passing out the second his body touched the couch.
