Chapter 14: Riding in Life

Mai POV
We were on a train heading to the Fire Nation. I never thought I be able to come back. The longer we were on this train the more I thought how stupid idea this was again.

"This is really stupid Azula. How do you expect to find a secret mafia or something then take them down. Not to mention the Fire Narions knows all of us. You're fire stands out, my knives being flung, and men mysteriously fallinh all at the same time? How does that sound." I said

"Negative as always. But of course we're going to spend some time learning about this Black Tiger before we stop them from assasinating Katara." Azula said

"1, we don't know if they really are. 2, I didn't agree to spend forever here." I said

"You kind of did Mai. Besides I'm sure we handle this." Ty Lee said playing with Izumi.

"We'll be hiding out on that house on Ember Island. Practicing and training if all goes according to plan. Now where did you need stop for Izumi?" Azula said

I sighed and  looked at my daughter.
"The Royal Palace itself." I said softly

"NO WAY MAI! You're actually giving her to Zuko? I don't believe this." Ty Lee squealed.

Azula even looked at me with a shocked expression but quickly lost it.

"You won't have to because I'm not that desperate or delusional. Someone else I trust is there." I said crossing my arms.

"Who?" Azula and Ty Lee asked at the same time.

I stared away from them with a smirk escaping my lips.

"We're here." Azula said once they arrived in the Fire Nation.

"We should totally put on disguises!" Ty Lee said enthuiscastically.

"Not a bad idea Ty. I don't need people to recognize the "escaped princess" and I'm pretty sure Mai doesn't want to be recognzied either." Azula said

"Ok Ty Lee, you're the only one who can be seen right now. You need to find outfits for Mai and I." Azula said

"On it. This is going to be fun." Ty Lee said smirking

"Don't grab anything stupid." Mai said glaring daggers.

"Ok, okay. Geesh." Ty Lee said handing Izumi to Mai.

"We'll be by the docks. Don't take forever Ty Lee." Azula said.

Ty Lee nodded and went to find the disguises

Ty Lee POV

I went into a shop to find something the girls might want. I came across this beautiful pink set but it would probably put our mission at risk. I came across the perfect outfit for me. I quickly grabbed it and tried it on. It was perfect except there was one thing missing. The Ty Lee touch. I found outfits and wigs for the girls then a pink scarf.

I was walking down the streets and alleys towards the docks. All of a sudden a saw this beautiful pheonix made of fire in the sky. Letting my curiosity get the better of me, I turned down another path to see a group of people surrounding someone making cool shapes of fire in the air. The performance was amazing. The person making these shapes seemed to be a male with short dark brown hair. Maybe it was black I couldn't tell. Standing from behind him you could see he was definetly a man, not a boy. It looked like he had either a scarf or headband on as well.

As he ended he bowed then waited for people to leave. I began walking up from behind to tell him he did an azaming job. As I was about to get his attention by touching his shoulder, he immediate;y turned around and a gust of air flew me back a about a foot or two.
