The final chapter explaining the beginning of the story. Hang on and enjoy the drama!

Toph Pov

I bended a giant boulder in the air. My original plan was to shoot it right at those slime bags. (Sorry for the hating language. I personally love these characters, but the story must go on.)

Then I realized they were still my friends. I bended the boulder at the door and demanded an explanation. I could feel Zuko's and Katara's heartbeats beat 100mph.

Sokka Pov

My sister was right in front of me. I could tell she had hurt my best friend. Zuko, I don't think I could ever find it in my heart to forgive him. Mai and I weren't close, but we did enjoy talking about are sharp weapons and perfect aim. When I saw Toph bend the boulder, I was afraid she'd actually hurt them. For I moment I thought they deserved it, but Katara is my sister, and I don't want to see her get hurt. Even though she had caused me pain.

Suki Pov

Seeing Aang in the Avatar State, concerned me. I was shocked because it looked like he was aiming his anger at Zuko and Katara. I always thought Katara had acted differently after Zuko and Mai got engaged. She looked sad all the time. I thought it was because she was tired of Aang waiting to propose to her. When Aang proposed to her, she acted happy, but it could have been acting. I never thought this would lead to her actually liking Zuko.

I was relieved Toph didn't harm them. But I always believe in loyalty and justice. What they did was wrong, and they deserve to feel like how they made Aang, and Mai feel.

Ty Lee Pov

I felt so bad for Mai and Aang. With my time trying to capture him with Azula, I could always see how much he loved her.

And Mai, she loved Zuko ever since we were kids. When he needed someone to lean on, she was there, dumped her, and she almost died saving his life, when being Firelord was wearing him down, she willingly helped him in every way she could. Why? Because she loved him.

Zuko doesn't deserve someone like Mai. Sure, she came off cold and emotionless at times, but inside, I could tell she was caring and heartfelt. To be betrayed by someone she dedicated her life to, it felt like a piece of me died.

Mai was like a sister to me. We do everything together. I was standing there afraid of what was going to happen.

No One Pov

"So how long has you guys' little affair been going on." Toph asked

"We swear we never wanted to hurt any of you." Zuko said standing

"ANSWER THE QUESTION!" Aang snapped.

"Aang please. I love you but, Zuko and I, we're in love." Katara said.

"YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME YOU LOVE KATARA! EVERY TIME YOU TOLD ME THAT WAS A LIE. I LOVED YOU SINCE THE MOMENT I SAW YOU! AND YOU DO THIS!" Aang said send a blast of air destroying a nearby table. Sokka had to hold him down while Aang cried in his arms.

"Mai-" Zuko started.

"Don't you talk to me. I don't want my name coming out of your filthy mouth. I don't even want it in your mind. You're no better. Telling me you loved me, that you'd never hurt me. But here we are. I'm done with YOU and your lies. Hurting me and endlessly forgiving you. I hope you enjoyed using me and my already screwed up feelings. I'm above killing you in front of your new little toy. I hate you and you can have this back." Mai said. Her words were filled with so much Venom and pain.

She threw the diamond ring, Zuko had proposed to her with right at him.

"Katara. Come here please." Aang said.

Katara reluctantly walked over to Aang expecting a goodbye hug or an I forgive you. Instead, when she got close enough, Aang gently touched the orange and blue pendent on betrothal necklace he had made for her.

Aang looked at her in the eyes and said, "You're dead to me." and with that he burned it off and airbended himself towards the door Mai was at. They shared a look of heartbreak at the friends and ex's and spoke....

"Goodbye."

Aang destroyed the boulder with his earthbending, and he and Mai walked away never turning back.

Mai Pov

Pain, Regret, Anger, and Sadness. So many emotions bottled up inside me. On my way out the palace I saw Zeri leaving out one of the rooms.

"Lady Mai!" she said with her signature smile.

"How did Firelord Zuko react to the big news?" she asked

I was going to announce it today at dinner or maybe breakfast. I was so angry I didn't bother telling Zuko.

"I want you to promise me something. Don't tell a single soul. Especially not Zuko that I'm pregnant with his child." I warned her.

"Of course. Lady Mai is everything okay?" she asked me.

"Zuko found a different Firelady." I told her.

"I'm so sorry. I was really looking forward to you. You're such an inspiration to the Fire Nation. Speaking of the Fire Nation, I can only imagine how they'll react. You deserve to be on the throne. Firelord Zuko is..." Zeri tried to comfort me.

"I wish to forget. I'll always remember you Zeri. But it's time I leave." I told her smiling then walking away.

"Goodbye, thank you for everything." She said waving.

I gave her one final smile, signaling my final goodbye.

Hope you enjoyed today's chapter. I appreciate you reading this. As always, I hope you continue to read this story. The past is over, and my next chapters will be about the birth of Izumi and Honora. Also, I need ideas for last names, so please enlighten me with comments! A Last name for Zuko that Honora will also have, and an ORGINAL last name for Mai that Izumi will have.
