Who Am I Really?

End of the Black Tiger (Pt. 2)

No One POV

Aang woke up surrounded in darkness. He was just on the floor, or so he thought. There was nothing, absolutely nothing. He stood up and looked around for, well anything. He walked in a random direction. His staff was there so he picked it and looked at it.

"Hello." Aang said, to what, who knows. He kept saying it over and over again looking for something.

"Somebody, Anybody!" He shout.

"Aang!" He heard an unfamiliar female voice.

He airbended himself in that direction. He saw long, wavy, brown hair. He followed it till he reached her. As he was about to touch her shoulder, she vanished.

Confused and afraid, he took one more step forward. Although this step was as if he stepped in an invisble hole. He fell for what felt forever. He shouted as he reached the end. He landed on Appa?

She was there too, feeding cabbage to him. She looked to Aang. He saw she had shimmering golden eyes. All of a sudden another girl walked to her. She placed a hand on the girls shoulder. She also had golden eyes. But her hair was long and black. She was pale unlike the other girl who had even skin.

Aang jumped off Appa but as soon as his feet touched the ground he found himself in another setting.

This time he was flying on Appa, loooking into a window of the Royal Palace. He saw himself, but he wasn't what he looked like now. He looked older. A full beard. He stopped looking at himself and saw the first girl with brown hair. She was looking at the window. She looked sad. This time she was in Royal Fire Nation clothes, including the royal hairpiece he had seen Zuko wear before, in her topknot. Then all of a sudden she got up, and took it out. The golden item flung across the room. She put on a coat and pulled the hood up. She walked out the door, but then Aang saw her walking behind the palace like she had teleported.

He follwed her but as Appa was flying, Aang noticed ahead was all darkness again. Appa didn't stop but flew into it. Aang opened his eyes but this time was the other girl with black hair. She was in regular Fire Nation clothes. Aang found himself looking to see she wasn't in the Fire Nation but, Republic City? She jumped of her window with a bag on her back. She looked Aangry (Sorry :)) she had a photo in her hand as she ran off.

Appa disappeared and Aang fell. He couldn't bend so he shut his eyes and covered them with his arms for the impact. He opened them to find himself in that black room once more floating as if flying but this time around him he glowed orange gold. He saw the light lift in front of him forming his shape.

Then a blue light came. He watched it form into the shape of a woman. "Katara." he whispered.

The glowing figures danced together in perfect sync. Aang watched them dance together in complete awe, smiling and a little tear falling. All of a sudden a darker red glow hovered above them, forming into the firelord. He grapped Katara and lifted her above. Aang saw them bring their heads closer together . He saw the orange, gold light vanish. He watched Katara lean onto Zuko's shoulder.

Aang didn't know what came over him but he swung his staff right in the middle of them. The lights rippled as if rocks thrown into water. They disappeared and Aang fell to his knees.

He opened his eyes and saw a girl. No, 2 he thought. One half had brown hair and a golden eye. The other had the same golden eye like it was theirs but this side had black hair.

They smiled at him and Aang saw himself, Mai, Katara, and Zuko beneath them.  The girls seperated and became two different people. They girls hugged and a shimmering gold light filled the room blinding Aang.

Aang heard a loud thud, as if a door had been opened.

"Aang?" he heard

Then he felt water hit is face. He slowly opened his eyes then shut them again till it was no longer blurry. It was a dream, maybe a nightmare. He saw Katara looking down at him with caring eyes. He got out of the bed. He was in the same room he slept him.

"I have to go." Aang said.

"What?" Katara questioned. She grabbed his hand and took put her hand on his cheek, making him face her.

"I said I'm leaving." Aang said then started walking away.

"What's wrong Aang?"

Aang sighed and looked at her.

"I have to go but I'll be back. Next full moon. I'll be there." Aang said giving her a stern look."

Katara nodded not knowing what to say.

Aang walked down the hallway. He saw a portrait of Zuko and Katara and stopped to look at it.

Neither of them were smiling. Zuko simply had an arm around Katara's neck, and Katara had a had on his chest.

"Is it bothering you?" Katara walked up to him

Aang didn't look at her nor say a word. He simply just shook his head no.

"Aang, I don't know how many times I have to apologize but." Katara said sincerely.

"That's the problem. You don't know. Knowing my ex fiance, the love of my life, leave me like I was nothing. Like a light just came in and took her from me." Aang said.

"Aang, I wish-""

"Nothing, wish nothing. I'm over it. I never knew why it happened or care. Maybe I didn't love her enough, or treat her good enough. I don't need an apology or an explanation. I need to figure out who I am and focus on protecting the world." Aang said.

"Aang, you don't know it but you know who you are. A good person, who is selfless, brave, and caring. You would do anything for anyone. You try to make good eveywhere you are. You'll do the right thing. I want you to know you're not alone. I know this isn't how we planned things but, one thing will never change. I'll always be there for you. The real you." Katara said.

Aang nodded and told Katara tell Zuko goodbye for him.

"Wait, you promise you'll be here?" Katara asked

"Avatar Promise." Aang said

Aang flew on Appa to Ember Island. He kept thinking about his dream. Who were those girls. Why did he see Katara leave him again.

Then he remembered her words. I'll always be there for you.

"I'll be there for you too." Aang said closing his eyes.

Like I said Part 3 should be out soon and as many of you might have been wondering, "So what was description of the girls about?" It took me longer to explain what happened before they were mentioned. But after part 3, the rest of the story should be about them.
