Camilo POV
"Everything has to be clean" Abuela says and everyone hurries around, I groan. Why do people have to come over and stay? I make my way downstairs and someone knocks on the door. "They're here! Everyone's best behavior!" Abuela opens the door and embraces an older woman, Senora Maria. She and her family come in, there's a girl and boy who look my age. The boy is wearing a dark purple ruana with a ghost print, wavy brown hair and back pants. His sister is wearing a green skirt with animals on it. She's wearing a white off the shoulder shirt, her loose curly hair is pushed behind her shoulders and she introduces herself to everyone.
"Camilo, Mirabel help them with their bags" Abuela says and I walk towards the boy, I take his case and lead him towards their room.
"I'm Camilo"
"I'm Mateo, it's nice meeting you. Thanks" He says and I put his case on the left bed, his sister puts her own case on her bed. I see Mateo staring at Mirabel and his sister smirks.
"I'm Camilo, it's lovely to meet you...?" I say and walk up to the girl
"Y/n" she says, take her hand and kiss the top of it
"It's lovely to meet you Y/n " I say smirking
"The pleasure's all mine" She replies smoothly and I chuckle. She is gorgeous.
"We'll let you two settle in" Mirabel says and I smile at her. We leave and are introduced to Senora Gabirela and Senora Julian, Y/n and Mateos parents. Gabriela can feel and take away people's emotions, pretty cool if you ask me. The ability to take away someone's pain. I walk downtown to play with the kids, that's my only chore ever but I can't let them find out that it's a chore, it would break their little hearts. I shift to a short man when all the kids run over to Y/n and Mateo.
"Are you the special guests!?" A kid yells
"What are your gifts?"
"Show us your gifts" Y/n laughs and leads them away from her brother, she puts her hands on her hips and a kid yells, I walk over to her brother and we chat. She transforms into a jaguar.
"She shifts into animals?" I ask
"Pretty amazing huh?" Mateo laughs, and I nod. When she shifts back they all fire questions at her, I laugh and they all run away. She walks up to us and leans on her brother "That was pretty impressive" I say and she laughs, her laugh is angelic
"What's your gift?" She asks and I shift into her and twirl around "ah, mines cooler" she says cooly
"Debatable" I grin, she rolls her eyes smiling and shifts to a dog and runs away. After five minutes she returns and sits by Mateos feet, I talk about the family when Dolores pops up
"Lunch time" She says and Y/n shifts into Y/n "That is so cool" She laughs
"Cooler than mine?" I ask and she puts her arms around Y/n shoulders
"Yes" she says and walks away.
