Running away

"Running away! Is that really what you'd think I'd do now?" I ask, anger bubbles in my chest. I stand up, my chair falls behind me

"I risked my life to save our home and you ask me if I'm okay! No of course I'm not okay, of course I'm not happy. I killed a man" I say pointing at my chest. My bottom lip shakes "I killed someone" My vision is blurred by tears. Everyone sits still, Camilo gets up and hugs me. I hold onto him tightly and hide my face in his neck.

"Of course we don't think you'll run away" Julieta says with a frown

"It's just Miguel told us" Pepa says and I look up

"Miguel said what?" I ask, teeth clenched
"He said that you're hurting and want to leave, run away" Pa says

"He's upset because I rejected his advances" I snap "I'm going to kill him" I growl and storm towards town. My mind swirls, I reject him so he tells my family I'm running away? I bang on his door and his mother opens the door.
"Hola Y/n!" She hugs me, she's a very sweet woman "thank you for helping us, I don't know what would have happened" she says holding my hand
"I'm just glad I did what I could, is um Miguel home?" I ask

"No, he's out in the town sorry dear"
"It's alright, gracias" I walk away. I see him and I grab his shirt and drag him away from the crowd.

"Hola" he smiles and goes for a hug, I slap his arms away.
"I reject you and you tell my family, the people I love I'm leaving?" I ask loudly
"You seemed so unhappy, trapped with Camilo" Miguel says worried
"I can't believe you" I look away
"Y/n, I care about you and I want you to be happy" he takes my hand and I look at him.

"So you went and told people I was running away!" I yell and he looks shocked
"I never-"
"Yes you did don't even lie!" I point at him.

"Okay, okay, Y/n just calm down" he says nervously
"Calm down? Don't tell me to calm down!" I shift into four animals and I stumble. Miguel goes to catch me and I glare at him "don't touch me" I snap, head pounding. I walk away, shifting into many animals. I fall in the garden and groan, I hold my head in my hands. 

"Hey" Isabela says, sitting beside me. I wipe my cheeks
"Hola" I whisper and shift into a rabbit then into myself.
"I'm here for you" she holds my hand and I look at her. My hand shakes
"I just" I breakdown and she pulls me into a hug
"I know honey" she strokes my hair
"Why is this happening?" I ask, her arms around me.
"I don't know" I sniff and she wipes a tear from my cheek.
