Camilo POV

I flop on my bed and fall asleep.

"Camilo wake up" Dolores says and I groan
"What time is it?"
"Time for you to tell me why you and Y/n snuck out" I sit up and rub my face
"I was getting food, she was restless"

"Uh huh" I glare at Dolores and change into my normal clothes. We walk down and I see Casita moving Y/n and Mateo towards the kitchen. Casita lifts a tile up as Y/n walks and she falls forwards. I rush up and catch her. She laughs and stands up

"Sorry" She says and I rub my neck, my face is getting hot
"You're good, just glad I caught you" She smiles, pink creeping onto her cheeks and I grab a plate and walk away. I sit down and Dolores elbows me and gives me a 'really' look

"Don't you dare" I whisper and she rolls her eyes. Everyone sits down

"Where did you guys go this morning?" Mirabel asks Y/n and Mateo
"When I don't shift for a long time I get restless and on edge" Y/n says and pokes her food.

"How come?" Isa asks and she shrugs

"Could be something with the animals, just like I don't like being inside" Y/n explains, she doesn't like being inside?

"That's odd, we don't have any side effects like for our gifts" Tia Julieta says and I nod. Y/n shrugs it off as Abuela talks about Antonios gift ceremony. After breakfast I go down to town and play with the kids. I see Antonio on a jaguars back and he looks like he's having the time of his life. They run into the forest and the kids turn to me
"Is that your girlfriend?" A little girls asks

"Who?" Play dumb

"Y/n," Ceclia says and smiles at me.

"No, we're not dating" I say

"He's turning red!" A kid yells
"He wishes they were dating"

"Let's play tag!" I say and they all laugh
"He's distracting us!" A girl laughs. My heart pounds and I can feel my cheeks are red. Y/n runs up to me with Antonio on her back and he runs at me.

"Camilo! It was so fun! Y/n took me into the forest and we stopped at this waterfall and it was so cool" Antonio tells me all about how she took him and ran around in the forest and how he had so much fun. All the kids run over to her and chase her.
"That's awesome nino" I say and he smiles and hugs me

"I'm still nervous" He whispers and I pull away
"It's okay, I was nervous too but I promise you'll get a gift as special as you"

"You think?"

"Of course!" I say and he smiles. Y/n walks over to us and Antonio hugs her legs

""Thank you so much Y/n!" Antonio says

"Of course little dude," She says, smiling and ruffling his hair. He runs off to Casita.

"Sounds like he had fun" I say and she laughs

"I hope so, he seems pretty nervous for the ceremony." She says and I smile, I grab a leaf from her hair, she laughs slightly and we walk around town. She takes her out of a bun and shakes out her hair, her hair smells like strawberries. I look at her while we walk, I sigh and fall forward. I grunt and see her covering her mouth, trying not to laugh.
