Camilo POV

She starts smothering Y/n in kisses. What is happening?

"Aye Mijo" Mamma says and squeezes my face. Y/n shifts four times and Gabriela's smile fades and whispers to Mamma, a cloud appears. They grab Y/n's arms and drag her away from me. I run after them. They sit on Y/n's bed while she paces in front of them, I lean against the door.

"I don't know what's happening to me" She says, voice breaking "I didn't do anything wrong" A tear falls down her cheek and I want to wipe it away and hug her and protect her. She wipes it away quickly and Mamma thunders with worry.

"Mija, you need to calm down" Gabirlea says and Y/n freezes.
"Calm down?" She asks "is your gift spazzing out? " she asks her mother. I touch her arm, I'm gonna hug her "you guys should go get ready for dinner, I'll stay in here" She says

"No, you need to come," Gabriela and Mamma say at the same time.

"Why?"
"For" Mamma pauses "reasons" her jaw tightens

"Fine, but I can't control my gift" She says and they smile

"That's okay" They leave and she rubs her face. I hug her. She tenses then wraps her arms around me and hugs me back. I hear a sniff and I cup her cheek and look at her, a single tear falls down her cheek and I wipe it away with my thumb.

"It's going to be okay" I say softly

"Thank you" she says and hugs me tightly. I kiss her hair and my heart races. I leave and go upstairs to get changed. I know I look like an idiot but I don't care. I change and set the table. I see Y/n walk in, she looks beautiful. Mariano follows her and she sits down, I sit in front of Mateo, Pa in front of Y/n, she's beside Mariano, Isabela on his other side. Y/n smiles at me, she looks confident, a different girl that was in her room crying twenty minutes ago.

"The Madrigals and the Guzmans will be so good for the encanto" Abuela says and Senora Guzman laughs
"Then let's not hope tonight is a terrible disaster" She jokes. The dinner goes by swiftly, Mirabel is acting weird, staring at Dolores.

"Avocado?" Marino asks, Mirabel shakes her head and smiles at him.
"Mirabel found Bruno's vision, she's gonna destroy the magic" Dolores whispers in my ear. My heart pounds and I cough. Y/n gives me a look and I look at Pa

"Camilo fix your face" I shake my head and Y/n smiles at me. God, her smile melts my heart. I whisper in Pa's ear
"Mirabel found Bruno's vision, she's gonna destroy the magic" Pa spits out his water on Y/n, she gasps, my eyes widen and Mariano hands her napkins, she smiles at him and dries herself. Mirabel sticks her head under the table

"Mirabel, everything okay?" Mariano asks slowly and she nods and Agustin grabs her hand
"She's just excited for you to propose"
"Which you should do, right now," Mirabel adds. Mariano looks at his mom for help

"W-w-well since everyone here has a talent my Marinao wanted to start with a song, Luisa could you bring the piano over?" She says

"Okay..." Lusia says, voice breaking and Mirabel jumps out of her seat

"It's actually a family tradition to sing after" She grunts and throws him out of his seat. Pa whispers to Mamma and a cloud swirls around her head
"Pepa, they cloud" Abuela says

"Clear skies" Mamma mutters over and over

"Isabela, the most beautiful flower in all of the encanto" Mariano starts and Mamma's cloud thunders. Mirabel jumps on the floor and flashes Mariano a cheesy grin

"You're doing great" She winces and he continues. Until she leaps under the table and some of Antonio's animals bring up a glowing palter. She tries to grab it but smacks it towards Abuela,
"Mirabel found Bruno's vision, she's gonna destroy that magic and we're all doomed" Dolores yells and thunder cracks. Cracks appear on the walls and Mirabel stands there. A crack appears in front of Mariano and a flower attacks his nose. Rain pours, a door opens and people with a 'congratulations' sign go quiet. Mariano and his mother run out, Abuela chases them. Y/n shrinks into a cat, dog, dove, pig, cheetah and then into herself. I feel my face shift and my hands fly to my face. Mateo takes Y/n out of the room and thunder cracks. Mamma, Isabela, Luisa, Tio Agustin, and Mirabel run out. I help clear the dishes, what just happened?
