Y/n POV

I fall asleep easily. I wake up and sit up. Mateo is already dressed and I take out my hair, I put it in a messy bun. I pull on a green dress with plants along the bottom, my shirt has small animals above the seam and I tie my sandales around my ankles. I stretch and my calf muscle twitches. Mateo chuckles and leads me outside. We pass Mamma

"Where are you two going?" She asks and my arm twitches "nevermind" we continue outside and I shift into a dog, a golden retriever to be more specific. I run around for ten minutes and then I shift back. We walk inside the Madrigal casa and the tiles pull me to the kitchen. The tiles push me forwards and I trip. I'm caught by Camilo and I laugh nervously. He helps me stand up and smiles at me, pink dusting his cheeks. I just fell on Camilo Madrigal oh my god.

"Heh, sorry" I say and he rubs his neck

"You're good, just glad I caught you" I smile and he grabs a plate and sits down. Mateo slings his arm over my shoulders, my heart pounds and my cheeks heat.

"You fell for Camilo?" He mutters and I elbow his ribs. I see Mamma and Pepa whisping then laughing. I sit beside Mirabel and she hands me a glass

"Where did you guys go this morning?" She asks and everyone sits down

"When I don't shift for a long time, I get restless and on edge" I explain

"How come?" Isabela asks and I shug

"Could be something with the animals, just like I don't like being inside" I say and everyone is listening to me.

"That's odd, we don't have any side effects like for our gifts" Julieta says and I shrug it off.

"Alright, tonight is our dear little Antonio's gift ceremony" Alma says standing up and I smile at him, he looks nervous. Alma gives everyone their tasks, mine is to hang out with Antonio, I can do that. After breakfast he grabs my hand and we walk to a field.
"Nervous?" I ask and crouch down in front of him, he nods. "You wanna do something fun?" I ask and he giggles but looks confused. "Okay what you're going to do is hold on to my scruff, the part of the skin around my neck, you wont' hurt me I promise" I say and he nods. I shift into a jaguar, I sit down and he climbs on my back. He holds on to me and I start off a slow jog. I run after and he giggles. I run past Camilo with the kids and he smiles and waves at us. I slow down when I get into the forest and jump over fallen branches. He laughs and holds on tighter. I stop when we get to a small waterfall and pond. He climbs off my back and I shift into myself
"That was amazing!" He says and jumps into my arms. I laugh and he smiles "Can we do it again?" I'm not out of breath yet so I put him down and shift into a jaguar again. I run around the forest and slow down to a jog when we get back to town. He hops off me and runs to his brother "Camilo! It was so fun! Y/n took me into the forest and we stopped at this waterfall and it was so cool" Antonio tells his brother everything and they kids run to me. They chase me around and I shift into a bird and hover above them. They run away and I shift into me. I walk over to Antonio and Camilo.
"Thank you so much Y/n!" Antonio says and hugs me legs
"Of course little dude" I say and ruffle his hair. He runs off towards the Madrigal casa and Camilo grabs a leaf from my hair.
