Camilo POV

"What's happening?" She grabs her brother's shoulders.
"Our home is being attacked" He says quietly. "Men are burning the town, killing people" everyone falls silent, Gabriela gasps and Julian stands up. Y/n looks at her brother

"Stay here" She says and looks to Abuela "Senora Alma, I need you to make sure my family stays here please" Abuela nods and I push my chair out, Dolores grabs my wrist.
"Stay" she mutters. Y/n shifts into a cheetah and runs away, within a minute she's gone, out of the Encanto. Gabriela rambles on and on. Mateo listens to something, Julian is comforting his wife and I put my fork down. What's going to happen to Y/n? Dolores squeezes my hand and I breathe. I can't lose her. We all go inside except Gabriela and Julian. I grab Mateo's arm and pull him into my room.
"What's happening?" I ask

"These men came into our town and started lighting everything on fire and killing people" He says quietly, sitting on my bed. And Y/n ran into that? "She always does this, she always puts herself into danger" Mateo mutters, running his hands through his hair and Dolores bursts through the door.

"She's not putting herself in danger" She says angrily and Mateo looks confused "She's going to protect her town, her friends. She knows what she's doing, she's not dumb" Dolores says and leaves. I see a cat sprint to Casita and I race downstairs. Y/n is talking to her Mother, her arm and cheek is bleeding

"You're bleeding" I say, she ignores me

"They destroyed everything, our home is gone, people are dead" she says, her voice strong

"Bring them here" Abuela says and takes Y/n's hands in hers "take them here, we'll build more houses" Y/n nods, the fear in her eyes clear as day and runs away as a cheetah. She was hurt, she was bleeding. "Camilo, Dolores go tell the town. Get supplies and start the houses" Mamma says and we run down. We tell everyone what happened and they get straight to work. A day passes and no sign of any one. No Y/n. Mateo is listening to something and he nods and sighs.

"Y/n is coming, she has everyone she can find" He says and Gabreila smiles "which is not a lot, less than a quarter of our town" he says and my heart aches for them. Gabriela has tears in her eyes and she leaves. I wait for Y/n, I stay up late hoping she'll appear out of the woods but nothing. The houses are coming along, I'm playing with the kids but they're sad. I see Mateo fly past us and hug a girl.
